Update on Our Life

Well we are into our second week of classes of this semester. Everything seems to being going well so far, wont last long I am sure. Soon we will be busy with papers, projects, test, and homework. I am taking 17 credits and working part time at the day care still, and loving it. They moved me to the 18 month-2 year old room. I am really liking the change. We have some super cuties in that classroom, and they are such a fun age. Matthew was taking 13 credits to begin with, but he found out he was missing a requirement for graduation so he is taking 3 more credits online from LCCC. Matthew is just being a sub at the bus garage. Which is super nice he gets to sleep in most mornings, and I get to spend more time with him. He is also still working at the State Vet Lab part time, and feeding goats. It seems like still a lot but for Matthew it is a huge change. He is loving all the free time. Next week we are traveling up to Pullman, WA to visit Washington State Vet school to see if we like it. After that we will be able to make a decision, even though we are still leaning towards Washington. We have to make sure. I still have my 2nd counselor calling in the Young Womens, and Matthew is still the assistant financial clerk of our ward. They moved us from the Stake Center to the Baker Street Building, so we get to go at 9 now instead of 2. Which is a nice change. We have now been married for a year and a half. Just to let you all know we are loving married life still. Its the greatest thing in my life to be married to my wonderful husband Matthew. He is my best friend, and I would to anything for him.

Our Winter Break...(Picture Overload)

The rest of our break was great. We spent tons of time with family and friends. Matthew was able to go ice fishing twice. We brought in the New Year with our friends Katie and Richard Walker, Matthew's Brother Daniel and his wife Kasi, and Meredeth Asay, and her friend Matt. We sent about a week and a half in Lovell, then we moved to my parents house for the last 5 days. We also were able to go and watch Matthew's brother Jared wrestle, and I was able to watch my little brother in basketball. They both did well.We celebrated Matthew's acceptance to Vet school by going out to dinner with his parents one night ,then a few nights later we went out with my parents. The weather was extra extra cold while we were up in the Basin, but there wasn't any snow. We headed back to Laramie yesterday morning. We are so thankful for our parents and their hospitality while we stayed at their houses. Laramie is covered with about 6 inches of snow as usual, and classes started today. This will be Matthew's last semester at the University, as well as mine besides online classes. We plan to visit Washington State Vet school here in a few weeks. We are very excited that Matthew was accepted to Vet school. His dreams are coming true. We miss and love our family, and can't wait for our next visit.

Our Prayers Have Been Answered...

Every since I bet since Matthew could walk he wanted to be a Vet. In September Matthew turned in 6 applications to different schools all over the country to try to get in. Yesterday he got a call and they told him he got into all the Wichi ( not sure on the spelling for that) schools,  Washington State, CSU in Fort Collins, and Oregon State. With the Wichi deal he is able to get instate tutition which is a whole lot better than paying out of state. Also he was offered a 12,000 (3,000 a year) dollar scholarship to Washington, so that school is looking a lot more appealing to us. When Matthew got off the phone with the lady , he told me and I was so excited I started to cry. Matthew has worked so hard his whole life to be a Vet, and he's dreams have come true. We have to let them know in April which school he wants, then we can start all the planning. Thank you all for all your prayers, and support. ( There will be more pictures from our Christmas break later)......
