Top 5 Reasons...

...why our vacation to Disneyworld was the best trip ever!!

#1: Seeing how giddy and excited Ella got when she got to meet some princesses.  At first she was nervous...squeezing my hand...but then once she saw how REAL they were, she was in heaven! Best moment ever!

#2: Seeing how excited Gage was to meet Woody and Buzz.  He was not scared at all!  He ran right up to Woody and gave him the biggest hug...then when we were leaving, he ran right back over to him and hugged him again.  Another best moment:)

#3: My nephew Luke training to be a Jedi fighter (not sure if thats the right name!)  Then seeing him fight Darth Vader, and after using the force on other people during the trip that were bugging him!  Definitely a highlight!

#4: Spending an entire week with my family! Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins for an entire week...it was heaven for all of us!

#5:  The Swimming! After the crappy weather we have been having, we were so ready to get to Florida and swim as much as we wanted! The water park Typhoon Lagoon, and the pools at our condo, the water was perfect!

#6: Ok, 6 reasons...but couldn't leave this one out!  My brother Dave (here with Ella) proposing to his girlfriend Nancy underwater while the boys were on their annual scuba diving trip! Definitely a best part of the trip! We love Nancy and are so excited for them!!

It was a good trip...so, so fun to see how excited the kids were for everything!  More pictures to come!!

Mother's Day

These are the cookies the kids decorated ALL BY THEMSELVES for both their grandmas! I didn't interfere once:)

The cute Mothers Day card they made for me...well mostly Ella...Gage scribbled a few lines on it!

Here is a close-up of the card...I love her little pictures!  This is a drawing of our little family.  She cracks me up...I especially like the bows in our hair, and our eyelashes!!

And this is my Mother's Day present (modeled by Ella and our cute neighbors)...now bring on summer...we're now set to play outside all day!!

(By the way...remember a few posts ago I talked about crazy faces the kids pull...well these pictures, once again, remind me that my kids are in fact crazy!! What is it with those faces??)

Our Favorite Things...

As of right now, there are a few things that the kids and I have been obsessed with lately.  So, I thought it would be fun to write them down...fun for the kids to look back on and see what their interests were!

#1: Fro-gurt, Farr's Fresh, whatever the store...we are obsessed with the self-serve yogurt stores!  Whenever we are bored, I'm like, "who wants yogurt!!" Its sooo good...and I tell myself its okay to get it 3 times a week because not as fatty as ice cream!

#2: Tangled.  Oh, Rapunzel...how many times have we watched you just this week??  I'm too embarassed to even admit. I blame it on the horrible weather and getting bored easily. (notice Gage in the background already watching it)...good thing its super cute...we all have most of it memorized.

#3: Gage and his Buzz hat.  This kid is obsessed with this $2 hat I got at Ross (see below!)  He wears it everywhere...including to bed and tries to convince me to let him wear it in the bath.  He is one Buzz Lightyear junkie.

4: Candyland.  This is one of Ella's new favorite things.  So whenever the kids want to watch Tangled again, I use this game as a bribe to get them away from the TV.  Its fun though, and they love playing this over and over and over again!

#5:  Ross!  Obviously this is one of my favorite things, my kids usually grumble when I pull up to the store again!!  But I can't help it...I am obsessed!!

...where else can you get cute clothes for your kids like this...

and cute shoes for myself like this, for such a great price!!  Pretty sure its my favorite place right now...(even if sometimes its stinky and a little scary inside!)  I love it!!

That's all for now...The End:)

A Family of Crazy Faces!

For some reason, the kids think it is the funniest thing to pull a crazy face every time I get out the camera. And I mean every. single. time. Gage is the worst...I don't think I've gotten a real smile out of him in months! Notice:

(Matt's 31st birthday)

Yep, those are my kids. Crazy and all...good thing they are cute anyways! Gotta love them!!

Easter Eggs!

I'm trying to be more of a fun mom and do more activities with the kids. Sometimes I forget they are getting old enough to do activities on their own now! So, why not let them color their own easter eggs this year?! I think I will!

Good job kids!

No major messes...I think we will do this more often!

Spring Fever!

Since spring is taking such a long time to get here, we are trying all sorts of things over at our house to keep us busy. The spring fever is starting to take over though, I'm pretty much DYING for some warm weather...and so are the kids. They are starting to not care anymore about being outside in the cold though...they just throw their winter coats on (in April!) and play until they can't stand it anymore! Please come and find us soon spring...we can't wait!!

This boy loves puzzles! He will do them for a few hours out of every day. Thank goodness this has kept him busy lately!

On one of the days we considered warm (maybe 50 degrees?)...I am loving our crisp, brown lawn...

He is such a little cheeser...

It seems that every change of season I start to get tired of my house...so a month or so ago, I attempted to do something different to our entryway. It is such this huge, massive wall...it was hard to find something to do with that space. So this is how it ended...I'm still not so sure about it...

Weird lighting here...

One thing I do love about this is the paint is METALLIC! Its hard to tell in the pics, but it is super fun...but also super expensive. So that is mainly why I haven't touched up the bad spots yet (that and I'm just lazy)!

Good thing we have some fun friends to keep us busy...(that makeup is the death of me!)

But the best part of our spring, is the kids finally convinced us to get a tramp! I'm a little crazy about my kids and tramps, so i did my research and bought the safest one we could find! Now lets hope we have some warmer days to spend on this new thing!
