We're back...kind of.

We got back a few days ago from Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  What a trip that was!  We had fun on the beach, playing in the sand and running through the water.

That beach fun is hard work.  We had to take a few breaks and relax.

Oh no!  I got sand on my face.
My daddy helped me wash all of that sand away...and he helped reflect the sun away with his pale skin!  I smell bacon cooking...
My bubba helped hold open the clam shell while I crawled out.

Halloween Weekend

I had a great weekend.  Daddy and I hung out all day Saturday and Sunday while Mommy and Livvy  did their thing.  Daddy took me to a pumpkin patch and maze.  It was fun.

Meeting Olivia

Well Olivia is working her way into the family.  It took a little bit of time and adjustment but I think it will work out.  Mathas wasn't real happy at first but then his big brother instinct kicked in.  He likes to get Olivia her blanket and pacifier.  He also likes to rock her swing.  Here are a few pics of his Livvy.  He's called her that a few times.

Olivia Is Here

Olivia was born on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 7:17am.  She was 20.75" long and weighed 6 lb 10 oz.  She has a full head of light brown hair, no eye brows or eye lashes.  She has Chris' Louisiana swamp feet just like Mathas.  We got to come home Wednesday night at 8:30 and it's good to be home!

Nanny had candles going and gumbo on the stove.  Mathas was already asleep so we had to wait until the morning to see him.  We were worried on how he would respond to Olivia.  He didn't get too excited or too upset.  I think he is still trying to figure out why his momma was holding another baby.

Cake And Snake

Hi. We've been busy lately getting ready for something....  I'm not sure what a sister is but I know one is coming soon.  While the folks have been busy I'm trying to do more big boy stuff around the house to help out.  I wanted to watch Yo Gaba Gaba so I decided to try and find it.  But man these remote things are confusing!  This must be what Nanny feels like.

Uh-oh.  That didn't work.  Maybe I'll just put this remote down right here and play with something else.

Last night we went to a wedding and it was a lot of fun.  I ate cake and more cake.  It was delicious.
But I did get tired of posing for pictures.
How many more mom?
Sorry buddy.  If you want me to keep smiling I'll need more puffs than that.
Here is a pic of daddy and me walking out of the brush behind the new house.  It was so much fun the grass was tall and it was like we were in a forest.
But that all came to an end once we saw the snake....  The Big Snake.  Daddy said we're not walking through the woods again without his gun.  Not that he would shoot this particular protected species of snake.....

Good Times

Howdy.  We had a great Labor Day weekend at the Frio house.  I got to play a lot with my toys, Great Grandpa and Great Grandma and of course my cousin Madison Moomoo.

I heard the most wonderful noise coming from the living room and found my cuz with her whoopee cushion.  It was almost like daddy's noises but without the smell.

I continued to follow Madison Moomoo around all morning long.  I was her shadow.
She taught me one of life's lessons, personal space.  Apparently people value their personal space and don't want you breathing down their neck .  It took a toy truck to the head to figure that one out.  Now I know!

Later that day I got to play outside.  I was told not to take the stroller off the porch but I did anyway.  Then I was told to stop picking up bugs....but I did anyway.

So then I had to take a break with Great Grandma.  Ho hum.  We talked about how she got in trouble when she was a little girl.  Oh well, it passed the time.

Daddy cheered me up by playing tickle monster. That just cracks me up.

Then it was time for Madison Moomoo and me to go to bed.  We got to watch the sun set and she kissed my head where she whacked me with the toy truck earlier....I guess I'll let that one go.

When we got home I decided to help with the laundry!  Bye-bye.

Howdy

Hey Vern!

How you doin'?  We're good.  I had a great weekend.  I helped daddy take in the trash.  It was too hot to take it out, so I just took it back into the kitchen.  It's not my problem.  I'll just let daddy take it out later...

We had a great lunch at the ol' Crackle Barrel.  Man that place is good...but my daddy kept taking pictures of me!

Look over there.  I think there's an Amish guy using a cell phone.

Take a look at my new ride.  Nanny and Po dropped it off Sunday on their way home from the farm. I've learned to stand on top of it to reach stuff that I couldn't quit reach before!  Thanks Nanny and Po...  Sorry daddy.
