fluffy rice

I wonder what's up with excuses. Why people make excuses. There's no such thing as finding 'valid' reasons to cover up their mistakes right. Cos' if they haven't done anything wrong or made any mistakes, WHY would they even bother to find lame reasons to cover themselves? Search your conscience, arseholes.

I shan't elaborate further here less it ruins my cherry mood today :)

I think its even better to switch off my phone and go MIA til monday less sth suddenly pops out and I can't enjoy my Sunday, oops.

On a random note, I explored my culinary heaven yesterday evening and whipped out red bean rice. Hahah yes, red bean rice! The rice is pinkish colour and here's the outcome. Brother said that I should cook the beans longer first cos its quite chewy. (FYI: he is used to gobbling down his food =X )

and of course, I cooked some soup and steamed egg to go with it luh.

Cycling today? Or................

transformers and shopping with brother

I think I am too stressed out, to the extent that I actually dreamt about MICE project, waking up every few minutes to jot down whatever I think our group have not covered. Sounds mad huh? o.O

I am getting headaches every now and then, sitting in the lab for 5633883866 hours doing the proj, eating zero-nutrition food like curry puff and bombay toasts as brunch.

I hope all the effort that I put in would be paid for - in grades term. LOL

Finally done editing the report on Friday and I went to watch 'Transformers' with brother at TM. Its effin' full house and we sat the front row, my headache getting worse with all the the screen playing all the fast effects above my head and my neck and butt felt like as if it was twisted by someone. -.-

Verdict: 10 bucks for the movie and 5 bucks goes to admiring Megan Fox, 3 bucks for the thrill and 2 bucks for torturing my body, oh and 50cents for the male lead who look like Daniel Wu <3

Megan Fox defines sexy. Heaven grant me her fabulous figure pretty pleaseeeeee

Afters, went shopping at Tamp 1 and bro bought his addidas jacket and watch and he bought me a watch too! ^^

Home sweet home after that to watch the brink of law.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

HAPPY DADDY'S DAYYYYYYY <3

But Dad gotta work today so I couldn't show off my superb culinary skills :( . But brother got to enjoy it though. I am always cooking for brother. Is there any hidden Happy Brother's Day which I am not known of? Hmm

I was thinking of buying a cake but Dad is not a fan of cake he hates sweet stuff. Only I like sweet stuff LOL.

I missed 'Daddy's Day Care' yesterday but mingfei said he got it in his hubstation or whatever so I might be able to watch it YEAH

Another good news is that I have secured an internship placement and its at Beach Road somewhere near Bugis hahas people remember to pop by and date me for my hour lunch break ok! I scared I cannot click with my future colleagues :/

ANYWAY on a random note I miss MEOW :( cos I was updating the large photo album she got and decorated the starters for me, with new photos and I was quite unhappy as she will be away to CHINAAAAAAAAA 2 months later for the 5 month internship. SIGH

I wonder, everyone would be so busy with their internship and stuff, would anything change. I guess most probably will. New environment is equal to changing a person. See? I changed so much after entering poly. For the better or for worse I don't know.

OKAY, back to Daddy's Day. Hahs I LOVE MY DADDDDDDD! He is number 1 in my heart okay, and I am number 2 in my own heart (okay this sounds stupid). Yes, I count myself inside cos I love myself ALOT also.

Managed to satisfy my cravings for milo mc flurry on thurs night with xt. (weikiang you cheat me say got cornetto mc flurry. dont have lei :( )

Friday

Went to meet sjx and ben at PS for HK cafe dinner. Weijie couldn't come cos sick (YOU MISSED OUT ALOTTTTT) Then to Cathay to find weiyen then to Ben & Jerry's for dessertsssss while waiting for the 'BOSS' (as ben called him) to finish work LOL.

sjx went off to find her bf then I went with the guys to rocher for dao huayyyyy (I know I ate alot that day :( )

Then went in search for nice pubs while waiting for njx to finish work. But shitbombs to her company she got to go back to her office after delivering sth to mediacorp and won't know when will end :(

So, we cabbed down to clarke quay without her to Brewerks cos they want me to try the 'Fruit brew' as they say til so heavenly I think it so so but at least better than normal beer. Heng ah our BOSS nv order the tower if not I might just puke.

Then went to boatquay in search for second round in better pub but Eski Bar is fulllllll =(
But its pretty cool though the temperature there is freezing point (0 deg) COOL RIGHT. but fulllllll no choice and others popular ones all full. So home afters.

Nevertheless I had a great bitchin session with the guys and had fun skyping in BOSS's name HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA

Went interview at BRF at Key Point at Beach Road and I got myself lost. >.<
Heng I found the way myself in time and the interview is actually at the food court! AHHAHAHA cos the office too noisy. Lucky I never wear blazer if not I will look like some joke. -.- Tomorrow will knwo results omg scary. Cos they reviewed all applicants and only choose 2 to interview. So its either me or the other person le. >.<

Then meet my BFF at Victoria Street for her viet roll paper then to Iluma for 'Land of the Lost'. A funny and thrilling movie I say. Hahs

Dinner at Piri Piroi Chicken and the thinsg there is super salty so much so that I felt that I have done my kidneys great dis-service after eating. :(

TABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But when? Next wed? LOL

Watched 'Ghost of Girlfriends' Past' yesterday night with bff and it is niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Must watch okay, very meaningful I think.

'The power in all relationships lies with whoever cares less'

I used to believe in this sentence so much, and til today, I still think that it is really true. (And it really IS true)

However, somehow, I also realized that, winning doesn't mean you are happy. Right?
Because when your partner lost, you have already lost, too.

So, like what the movie told us, maybe caring more will make you happier than caring less. And all I know is that, this is absolutely true too.
