Summer Fun

What a great summer it's been! We've done so many fun things that I've got a blog post a mile long!
Corbin played t-ball this year. Scott played baseball in highschool, so it was a lot of fun for them to practice together. Corbin has his dad's talent - when Scott pitched to him, he could hit it out of our yard!

While Corbin was playing baseball, Mason enjoyed playing with his new friend Carley. He didn't seem phased when she gave him a kiss on the cheek after the game. Her mom asked if she was his girlfriend, and she said, "No. I just love him."
Grandma's Visit
We're so lucky to have Grandma visit for awhile every summer. It seems like every time she comes she ends up taking care of someone due to surgery or illness. This time, she ended up taking care of all of us, thanks to the flu!
Mason asks almost daily when we'll get to see "Little Boston" next.
'
It was fun to play with Emilee. She's growing so fast!
She kept smashing her face up against the ball pit. It was hilarious!

I was laughing, because before I pulled out the camera, they were deep in conversation as they bounced the baby's in perfect rythm with each other!

Boston always gets a lot of air before he slides.

Sage enjoyed laying out on the grass and watching the leaves blow on the trees.

Corbin's been spending too much time with the dogs!
Not sure what Mason is thinking here:)

When we had a sleepover at Kim's, Sage went to sleep before the rest of us, so I just made a bed for her in the bathtub. She slept great all night!

There was a nasty flu going around, and we all caught it. After several days of feeling crummy, we decided to go outside and get some fresh air! Mason was so skinny after 5 days of not holding anything down, he looked like a skeleton!

We went to see Sarah at the dog show, then took Boston to a fun little train park that was nearby.
The Ward Carnival
Every year Scott's parents' ward puts on a carnival. This year, they had a camel, pony rides, a hay ride, several blow up slides and bounce houses, a shooting gallery, and a mechanical bull. They really go all out, and we all have a great time.
Sage has the greatest smiles, and I love her elastic band wrists!
Mason's a natural!
Corbin stayed on it for a long time!
Caden riding the bull.
Riley riding the bull.

Mason loves grasshoppers. Wherever we go, he has to catch them. He refuses to put them down until we get home, even if he has to hold them for hours. This is the grasshopper he trained. It was really good at "stay" and "play dead." He even got it to roll on it's side! We don't need to worry about our plants - Mason is single handedly controling the bug population in our yard.
Camping

This rope bridge is a new addition to the stake property this year.

The dogs swam along with the paddle boat. Belle doesn't like to swim, so she stood on the shore and barked, as usual.

Corbin wore out his old bike, so after a lot of shopping with Scott, they found the perfect new bike. Corbin had to do lots of chores to pay for it, but it was well worth it. He spends every second he can on it.

The Bike Park
We went to the bike park to celebrate Corbin's first day of 1st grade.

He was excited to try out his new bike on the jumps.

Daddy's socks are keeping Sages legs warm.

The Family Reunion

Grandma finally got to meet Sage. She was enjoying her so much that Grandpa called over to her, "Don't be getting any ideas!"

Scott strung Corbin on the flag pole.

The Hutchings Museum
The boys enjoyed eating millworms, but were not interested in the cricket race. We went thinking that you got to try to make your cricket go the fastest, but it was actually a race that involved eating crickets!

Mason says they taste like french fries.
Las Vegas
Scott went to a trade show in Vegas, so the kids and I tagged along. The boys had fun staying at CircusCircus.
Getting some energy out after the long drive.

The boys loved the Adventuredome! They went on the Tidal Wave, Sponge Bob 3D, airplanes, and played some arcade games.

Corbin's goal was to spend a whole day at the pool from open until close.
Sage preferred to hang out with Mom on the side of the pool.

We love summer rain storms! This one was more like a monsoon!

Mommy and Sage

Thanks to Scott's bubble wrap, we have Super Corbin...

Super Mason...

and Sidekick Sage!

Boston and Mason had more fun coloring themselves than the eggs!
