Lukie's visit

We've really enjoyed having Lukie stay with us for a few days. He's so easy going and content, yet he always has something fun or silly up his sleeve!

The boys started the party as soon as Lukie arrived. They found the box of halloween costumes and had a blast with them! This was the first time I've seen the silly side of Lukie!

Caden got to spend one day with us before he left for California, and boy was he excited! He's usually energetic, but I think he had springs attached to his feet on this day! Check out those ribs!

Mason even joined in on the fun!

Lukie is great at puzzles - he was the only one that had the patience to finish it!

The Fantastic Four!

We went to the carnival with Grandma Star and Grandpa Mike. The first thing the boys did was make a b-line for the huge slide!

I'm so proud of Corbin - he's become so brave and adventurous this year!

The great thing about being a Mom is that you sometimes get to use your kids as an excuse to do things the other adults don't get to do!

The clown wasn't quite sure how to make the jellyfish that Lukie asked for, so they ended up with swords and dogs!

Lukie is quite the rock climber - he zipped right up the wall.

They painted the boys' faces at the fair, and Mason must have thought it was a great idea, because now he's painting it every chance he gets with everything from mud to red paint!

Okay, so this one doesn't go with everything else, but I had to throw it in! This gives literal meaning to the phrase "lives, EATS, and breaths" motorcycles!

We're so lucky that Caden gets to spend the summer with us! The boys look up to him so much - in fact, Corbin does everything Caden does, and Mason does everything Corbin does, so we have three Cadens running around now! Caden is so responsible - he's always looking out for his little cousins!

Happy 1st Birthday, Boston!

Forget the cake, Boston wants icecream!

It was a special treat to have Grandma and Grandpa at the party!

Corbin, Grandma and I devised a plan for a surprise water balloon attack on Brett. It started off great - Corbin caught him completely by surprise! I'm not sure exactly how it happened after that, but somehow I'm the one that ended up getting soaked!

Silver Lake

I have to hand it to Kim and Brett...they are a great family in all the ways that matter most!

I don't know where he got this from, but this is Mason's latest thing!

That's a lot of dogs!

Getting all the kids to cooperate for a picture is nearly impossible!

We got to have Grandma Nina spend over two weeks with us! We did so many fun things, from yard sales to slumber parties, to concerts! She's such a big help to me, and so fun for the boys, it's always an adjustment when she has to go back home!

It's amazing that Corbin can sleep sideways like that and still move his neck when he wakes up! Oh, to be young again!

Mason is always stylin'!
