Ok, so today is my sister-in-law and Mother-in-law's birthdays and while we are wishing they have a very wonderful and happy birthday today I was thinking about other family birthdays that we celebrated but never posted. So sad. I figured I can fix that sadness today, and here you have it kinda way back Wednesday...
First we journey back to the month of August when we celebrated Camden's 3rd birthday. As the tradition goes, I successfully planned games, activities, food and hopefully fun on a day when the Nothing was available to sabotage the party. NICE! I am really good at this! Anyway... I thought since Camden's behavior can sometimes resemble that of a monster, we could party monster style.
This is the melon monster...
that apparently ate one of the kiddos sloppy joes. (My best guess is that this was a great stashing place for Taylor's food that he "ate all gone" :)
The always fabulous Garner clan
My momma and naked baby, who knows why
Kelly and Brian chillin
Me and Stacie
Some of the party ladies, notice the wind in our hair, yeah, it was slightly windy kinda like a tornado
Summer, tricepts, and traumatized Sawyer. Did I mention The Nothing came and swept away most of the party?
Little gushers, I love her!
Addie wearing the "monster feet" and Lisa with some sweet moves
Amber and me
Even Brinkley came to party. We were so happy the Johnsons could come celebrate with us!!
and the presents...
Fruit snacks from Auntie Megan and Uncle Adam, what could be better?
Oh wait there were guns too!! Little elmer fudd was in little boy heaven!
and more guns.
Happy birthday to my little Cam! How boring would our home be without him! I adore his sweet little gruff voice and super sweet smile! Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported our little guy at your own peril! We love ya!
And moving on, Keagan turned the big 7 on Sept. 1. Seven years goes by in a flash!! He decided on a GI Joe birthday, so over to the splash pad we went!! (Let it be known that weather is a little bit better here :) Thank goodness!!
Kelly cutting his first ever watermelon. He is allergic to them and never tried to cut them before, but he did a super fabulous job. Notice I stashed the baby under the table, great mom!!
Every soldier needs adequate protection for their head, right. Too bad I left an "a" out of WaiWai's name and had to steal one from Camden's, oh well.
I was not so much in a cake making mood, so I opted for army stars, too bad when you use too much army green food gel, it looks black.
Case not so sure about all that rushing water
Lexi, Parris, and Kaid
Kaid, Keags, and Malsey
Case and Lilia lovin the fountain
All the kiddos cooled off with some rootbeer float ice cream after the water.
Keagan was a little bit excited about his gift from Auntie Megan, thanks!
Martha (poor bells palsey), MaKell, Megan, Me, Pregnant Anja and little Lilia
All the little soldiers. Happy birthday Keags, we love ya!!
Dad had the awesome idea months and months ago to throw a surprise birthday party for mom's "6th anniversary of her 10th birthday" as Uncle Bryant so nicely put it :) We all had so much fun planning and when it all came together and mom came in... it was all worth it and SO much fun!!
My dad told my mom that they had a meeting at the church, very tricky!! When they walked in and mom was shocked, it was priceless. Then she saw Angie and Dominic who had secretly flown in from Austin, THANK YOU JOHNSONS!!, and she lost it... it was AWESOME!!
AJ and Dominic enjoying some munchies
Cutin some crumb cake, yum yum!
Family party + Uncle Brent = hilarious stories!! I love it!
Oh little Reesa, she doused Janet's face with a cup of cucumber lemonade, I'm sorry Janet, but it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen!!
My Uncle Richard and my Dad. Um, maybe my mom and her sister had similar taste :)
The yummies
and more yummies.
Angie, Dominic, and Lori
The fam, minus Jacob who had to slip out to help his mom. Happy birthday to the most selfless Mother this planet has ever seen!! I love you so much mom!
