I've been very lucky...

Four wins to show you:
Lovely Norwegian Sheep from Solvi at Solvi's Blog. I didn't know until this wonderful package arrived. They are all applique and the sheep are so cute! Thank you so much Solvi!
Fabric arrived from my win for the SEWN website launch from Sandra Norman at Sandy's Patchwork Angel. She added the two kangaroo fabric pieces when she learned I was from the USA!
How nice is that? Love the pink and blue prints too and will find a special project to use them on. And then I received fabric, scraps and some prairie points from Janelle at Threads of Friendship. I think I will try to make a bag similar to hers.
And last but not least, I won a shabby chic dog collar and cell phone case in the May Give Away Day on Sew Mama Sew from Joan at Linden Line Designs and it is so cute. I will post another photo when I get the right photo of it on my grandpuppy Abby. I'm not proud of my photos and hope to improve.

Almost caught up on Geese in the Forrest

I have May finished and all of the freezer paper prepped for June, so I can stay on track with Geese in the Forrest BOM from Twiddletails. This is going to be one cute Christmas quilt.
We have more guests coming tonight (sister and brother-in-law from Texas) so that means closing down all sewing again for the second time in two weeks.
I do have another quilt to show from a last year when I made this memory quilt for a best friend's son. The think ahead Mom has saved t-shirts since grade school, so I had a lot to choose from. (That's my sweety holding the quilt on our deck.)

Not sewing this week...

I had my favorite little girl come over and play all day today and we had lots of fun. She's my great niece who got the Swanky Whirly Giggle quilt.

I wanted to show you the things I've received in the mail over the past few weeks: a watermelon shopping bag from Nancy, a Moda Tea Towel from Kathy, a note card set (Pay it Forward) from Sheri and a cute mini quilt from Debra. Thank you all! I am enjoying all of the great little gifts.

Are you sick of looking at my Old Red Barn Quilt Along creation yet?

I've got the flimsy all together and I'm liking it! It's the Old Red Barn Quilt Along and you can still join the fun.

Finally caught up on the quilt along!

This Red Letter Day is wild, huh? What do you think?

I couldn't hold out any longer!

I had to join in on the Old Red Barn Quilt Along using Red Letter Day line from Lizzy House for Andover Fabrics which I purchased from Kathy at Pink Chalk Fabrics. Her service is amazing.
