I told you I'd be back .. and with a fun but likely too-long post. That's how I roll ~ belated and long-winded :)
We just got back from the greatest weekend in Vegas!!! Let me just say off the bat ... we love the Vegas. It is such a fun city and there is so much to do that
isn't scandalous ... a weekend there is about perfect (we would be too poor if we stayed longer than that!).

So, when we found out that our TN friends Jordan and Ryan would be there for the weekend, it was too good of an opportunity to pass up. Why were they there, you ask? Oh, no big deal ... Jordan just got a new gig playing bass for country artist
Billy Currington so they were in for the ACM Awards.

So we found a cheap hotel room on a third-party website, dropped Elliott off at our AMAZING friends' house (thank you again!) for the weekend and hit the road.
After a quick stop at the outlets (no doy) we arrived on Saturday afternoon, ready to drop our stuff quickly and head to the pool. Our hotel room ended up being at the Four Seasons which occupies the top few floors of Mandalay Bay ... needless to say, we were feeling pretty excited at having paid cheapo for staying at such a nice resort. So we checked in and they casually mentioned that we had been upgraded to a suite ... how great, especially considering how much we
didn't pay for the room. I assumed that we might get an extra little chair or maybe a couch. I also asked for a mini-fridge to be brought up to our room that I thought we might need.
So off we go to our room ... up the escalator ... insert the key ... and this is our view:

Archways? This must be the hallway to our room. We walk a little further and realize that we are actually IN our room ... suite is an understatement! It's a good thing that the bellboy was a couple of minutes behind us with our bags because I may or may not have started jumping and screaming!
So, yes, we got the SICKEST upgrade of all time to a Deluxe Suite. Here's the
floor plan, in case you were wondering ... about 2200 sq. ft. which is officially 3x the size of our house!:

Our pics don't really do it justice, so here is the official website image:

And our point-and-shoot snapshots:

Not too shabby, eh?
Needless to say, we LOVED staying at the Four Seasons. The staff was amazing, our room was amazing, and the pools were so nice. As we laid out we had services such as an Evian spritz, frozen melon balls, a "sunglass butler" to clean our glasses, etc ... it was ridiculous!
When we checked out, we asked how to get the same upgrade next time we were in town. The guy smiled and checked to see which room we were in, and told us that it typically goes for ... wait for it ... $2500/night!!!!
So even though we technically lost money in the casinos, we WON a $5000 upgrade on our hotel so really we are coming out on top!!
So since the hotel has gotten its own post, I'll have to save all the other fun for another one! Check back soon!
