daddy day

happy father's day to all those daddy's out there!!

we decided to make some pretty pretty paintings for the daddy's in our lives 

with the buhls (thanks buhls)

the buhl girls absolutely loved getting messy

they got paint EVERYWHERE!

matix, on the other hand, was not quite as thrilled about it

in fact, he couldn't wait to get the paint off his hands

(but it didnt help that he wasnt feeling well either)

then on father's day we gave them to our daddy's

my dad is the best papa in the world to matix. they have the cutest relationship in the world.

my dad loves taking him places, and especially on trips. in fact sometimes, he takes him without me, just because he loves him so much. he puts him to bed every night. they eat ice cream together daily. and watch sports. when matix is gone, my dad is constantly aksing when he'll be back form his dads house. it's so sweet. and i am so greatful for how much help i have from my parents. they are the best. 

jon is a great dad. i can see how much love matix has for him. when he's with me, he loves to call his daddy just to say hi. the funniest thing (that jon actually hates) is that he associates him with "eggies." Whenever i tell him he's going to his daddy's house, or say anything about his dad, he immediately smiles and says "eggies" (jon fixes him eggies for breakfast a lot) i think it's pretty funny. jon does not haha. anyways, im really thankful for the relationship jon and i have. it's pretty perfect. and i think we're doing the best we can at being the best parents we can be for out little boy.

mormon fort

last saturday, mormon fort on las vegas blvd had a fund raiser to help save it.

so the whole fam decided to go support and get our $5 per family breakfast

apparently a ton of other people also decided to do so

(they estimated over 600)

so the line for our 1 measly pancake, not-so-good-eggs, and hash browns took almost 2 hours, 

but it was still a good time :)

and matix always enjoys hangin out with his cousin friends!

Darcis aunt brooke was studying Chinese at a University there..
So we stayed in her dorms for 6 dollars a nigh. talk about cheap?!
