January

I love seeing pictures of my friends and family and seeing what they are doing in their lives, so I thought I would give one more shot to share some of our pictures.  

Here is some of the things we did in January

The big job of putting away all the Christmas decorations.  It is not near as fun to put it away!

Haddie and Sophie spent a lot of time reading books.

We enjoyed our annual New Year and Goal Setting Family Home Evening.

We took another trip to the state capital. I think Haddie is going to love history as much as her dad! 

My sister made matching maxi skirts for Haddie and Sophie.  They love being twins!

We finally made it to the Museum of Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.  It was amazing, and will require many more visits to see everything.

We celebrated National popcorn Day!

Sophie and Haddie performed in my Festival recital, and were amazing! It is so fun to see them loving music.

We enjoyed eating yummy snowmen treats.

 Haddie and Sophie performed a musical for us called Nightingale! 

It has been such a mild winter this year, and we have enjoyed playing outside.

Since I am such a slacker blogger, I thought I would try and at least do a once a month post.  So here is what we were up to during most of March.  

We went to Delta to celebrate Cory's birthday.  

His first one home from his mission.

 While in Delta we were able to see the snow geese, and play in the dirt!

 Sophie likes to sit on the table to eat her snacks!

 Haddie became obsessed with In the Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg in March.  She always begs dad to listen to it on his ipad.

 We enjoyed lots of book reading on our new window seat benches we built.

 Sophie decided she liked the horse the girls got for Christmas from Papa Barney.

She now rides it all the time like a wild cowgirl, scaring us that she will tip the horse over!

 We enjoyed one of the rare warm days and went to the park.

 We celebrated St Patrick's Day in grand style with jig dancing, pot of gold finding, green and rainbow food eating, and lots of green wearing! 

These two have so much fun together!

We enjoyed our monthly dates with the girls.
Sophie got to go out for breakfast with daddy to Burger King.

Haddie and mommy got to make a fun craft.  Haddie chose a footprint bunny.

We had a fun movie night watching Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang.

Sophie got a fat lip in nursery.

Who knew it could be so brutal!

We took a really fun trip for Spring Break and Easter so that will have to be a post of it's own with all the pictures.

Happy Fall!

Since we are way over due for an update, here are the big highlights from the past 8 months!  Squeeze in lots of fun times with family and friends, and just the everyday, and that has been our fun and busy lives. 

 In April we took a trip to California to visit some family and stay with our good friends.  We had fun at the beach, Sea World, and just lots of playing.

 

 We spent Easter with Gichin's parents.

 Sweet little Sophie turned 1!!

 We put curlers in Haddie's hair one night!

 We think she has a strong resemblance to Shirley Temple!

  

 We bought our first home!!

  

My family was all together for the first time in 4 years!

 Our cute Haddie turned 4!

 Took some new pictures of the girls for the wall!
