"Fantastic Dogs"

 

This month we would like to introduce our newest SR Design team member Shirley Quarry.

 

I live in a small rural town with my husband and four beautiful  fur babies.  I have two adult  children and five grand-children.  Number six is suppose to make an arrival in March.    I started stamping about 8 years ago.  I met a lady  who was shopping in the same craft store that I was shopping in.   I asked her about stamping as we were looking at rubber stamps.   She mentioned she was having a Stamp party and I invited myself to go.   Not only did I learn to stamp, I made a great friend and we have acquired many other new friends from our love of stamping.  

My other passion in life is helping dogs that have been kicked to the curb  and are out there on their own in this world.  

Thankfully, my wonderful husband realized this was my calling in life and no longer  fusses with me when he comes home to find a new dog that will be living with us until I find a suitable home for it.  

I have been on the Speedy Fox and Friends design team since September.  I am looking forward to being a part of the Senior Design Team.

 

Lets take a look at what our talented designers have in store for us today to showcase this Fantastic Set.

Speedy Fox Featured Designer - Cathy Clouston

I live in New Brunswick, Canada and I am mom to a busy three year old.  My husband and I both work outside of the home, so the time we have together as a family is precious, but  whenever I can carve out a few moments, I enjoy being creative in one way or another.  I started stamping in 2008, mostly just so I could do something different for my holiday cards, but once I caught the bug, paper crafting became one of my favourite things to do. 

While I’ve been making cards for a while, I only discovered the multitude of challenge blogs at the end of 2011 and beginning of 2012.  The challenges offered by Mark’s Finest Papers became some of my favourites fairly quickly. 

 I joined the Mark’s Finest Papers senior design team back in September, and I’ve enjoyed every moment!  I love the stamps offered by Mark’s Finest Papers, they are always so beautiful and can be used in many different ways.  I love stamping, and I love trying out new stamping techniques.  I also love making my own embellishments which is why I’ve put together a tutorial that will allow you to make your own flowers.  I hope you enjoy!  :)
