Summer Vacations

Well, now that the summer is over I will report on it. I would post pictures but the last three times I tried to do that the computer shut down instead. Anyway, here are some of the things we have pictures of but you can't see them :(
Mark was the Hero in Blanding's annual 4th of July Melodrama. As usual, everyone loved him.
The girls and Mark got to be in the Big 4th of July Parade.
Mark and I went to Hawaii for a week. It was a blast!!! It was a needed break from the children. (Not in the budget but less expensive than the funny farm)
We went to the Oquirrh Mtn. temple open house, played at Discovery Gateway and drove to Fallon all in one day.
We spent a week with Mark's family as we prepared for Heather and Spencer's wedding.
We loved the chance to be in the temple with Heather and Spencer and all of the Bake clan. I was also happy to have seen Grandpa Hendrix perform his last sealing.
Mark had to go to Denver for a conference so I took the girls with my Mom, Julie, Jeff, Brice and Lisa's family to the cabin in Twin Lakes, California.
From the cabin we went to Heber Utah for a Workman family reunion. We did a ropes course which was a lot of fun and the zip line was a blast!!!
Mark's Parents, his Sisters and Spencer came last weekend. We met them in Monument Valley on Satuday. On Sunday they celebrated Shayli's 2nd Birthday with us.
Mark started work again on Monday.
THE BIGGEST EVENT OF ALL.... TODAY WE SENT OUR FIRST CHILD TO SCHOOL. SHE LOVED IT AND I AM EXCITED FOR HER TO MOVE ON!!! I am still a long way from feeling old enough to have four children but this is helping.

Princess Day

We had Princess Day as a reward for doing our chores well over the last few weeks. We started by serving the girls breakfast in bed. We watched Alladin, had a tea party, made tiaras, decorated and finished with a royal ball. Mark was a very good sport.
