around the house.

Who's ready for spring flowers?! I am! I realized today I never documented my last 'garden walk' from our home we sold in October 2018. I lived in that house for five years and did so, so, so much work in the yard. and I loved my yard. So, so much. Here are many of the summer flowers that I planted.
These butterflies are from the Pink Paislee 5th and Monaco collection. I used some distress inks to color them.
Then I just grabbed a bunch of items from my stash. Some Elle's Studio puffy hearts, some old Studio Calico wood veneer pieces, and some flair from Scrappin Happy Studio.
Thanks for looking!

congrats Mr & Mrs.

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a wedding photo of my brother's wedding from September. I used some of the Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

The cut file is from Confessions of a Paper Addict. I used it on a layout from my own wedding HERE.

I added some gold ink splatters and Scrappin Happy Studio Flair to finish it out. There's a process video HERE if you wanna check it out. Thanks for looking!

ocean vibes.

Hi friends!

I love this ocean vibes cut file from COAPA. I wanted to use it for this picture of the sunrise one morning from our hotel room when we were in Mexico last December.

I realized when I was recording for the process video (HERE) that I didn't even finish fussy cutting inside of my cut file. I do this all the time! Why?! I think I get too excited to start my page. Anyway...

FUN.

I found this polaroid of my brother and I when we were little. Back in 1990, there was this photo op at a local mall. I chose one of the Vicki Boutin ready to use mixed media paper. This pad is gorgeous!
I was inspired by a Paper Issues spring crop challenge to use all the colors in the rainbow. Coincidentally, Confessions of a Paper Addict has a March challenge to use rainbow colors.
I used a COAPA balloons cut file for this page. I chose to just leave the cut file as is so that you could see the pretty watercolor background.
Then I just layered up some embellishments from my stash. Thanks for looking!

vitamin Sea.

Hey guys! COAPA has some fun challenges this month to celebrate their first birthday. Virginia makes some super cute cut files and I'm obsessed with this beach one.

I used my new Art Walk collection by Heidi Swapp. So beautiful! I added some embellishments from the Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco collection.

and I also added some of the little pieces from the Heidi Swapp Story Line travel kit. Thanks for looking!

the best life.

This page was inspired by Sketch N Scrap #196. It's actually a re-do of a page I did in 2008. This is a photo of my work badge from my first job as an RN. At the time I scrapped this page, I used this quote from Grey's Anatomy and I still think it's relevant. So I typed it up and printed it off and used it again on this page.

I'm feeling all the feels right now about my job and the current events. Nurse life is the best life. But it's hard. So hard.
My stethoscope cut file is free at Paper Issues and is relevant for all my nurse friends. I'd love to see how you use it!

Believe it or not, I've used up almost ALL of my Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio! I have no full 12x12 papers left! This is exciting and sad at the same time!

The final touch on my page were some Gum Drop sequins (sorry, they're no longer available) from Spiegelmom Scraps. Thanks for looking!

3 months.

This fun page was made with the March counterfeit kit I put together. They issued a challenge to pick three items from a  list and I chose pink, frames, and florals.
Just a silly Snapchat photo of us on our three month wedding anniversary. I loved this pink woodgrain and I have been hoarding it for years. It's Bella Blvd Simply Spring.

unicorn soul.

I love this beautiful My Favorite Story collection from PinkFresh! Sooo pretty!

I did something new for this page. I found a unicorn from a Google search and turned it into a cut file! I embellished with a bunch of the chipboard flair and the flower ephemera. This page was inspired by the florals in this month's challenge at Scrap the Girls.

I saw this quote on Instagram and knew I wanted to use it on a layout.

stash busting Crate Paper's Summer Vibes ephemera pack

You guys probably have some of this ephemera pack left too. I loved it, but I found it hard to use. So I decided to try to stash bust it today. Use as many on one page as I could.

I've also been dying to use some of my Vicki Boutin ready to use mixed media paper that I got from Paper Issues. These papers are SO pretty and for someone who sucks at mixed media, like me, they're a wonderful idea!

I have a process video for this page HERE. I was able to use about eight pieces from this pack! Now, I didn't quite bust it because I have probably at least eight pieces left to use, but I am happy with the progress.

happiness is home made.

I talk about my process in my video HERE, but I combined a few different collections for this page and was inspired by this free Paige Evans cut file.

I wanted to document the process of buying our house. Our forever home. I added some flair and some sequin shaker pockets, per my usual.

Thanks so much for looking!

you + me [Challenge YOUrself #75].

Hi friends! I'm loving this month's theme at Challenge YOUrself.
I've had this Crate Paper collection, Main Squeeze, in my stash for a while. I like it so much that it's hard to use it!

I have THIS (free!) cut file from Paper Issues that I used for my title. Then just some minimal embellishing, a little sequin shaker, and that's it!

my March counterfeit kit.

Here is the March counterfeit kit inspiration. I really love the script words + the pretty colors from this inspiration kit.

Since I have some of those patterned papers and those chipboard flair, I started there. Then I added a couple of scripty Thickers from my stash and continued to build my kit from there.
I grabbed a bunch of different embellishments. Flair accents, flags and banners, chipboard frames.
The inspiration kit had enamel dots and bows. I don't have either of those. So I substituted plenty of different embellishments from my stash. I love having options!
I shared my first page yesterday that I've made with this kit so far. Stay tuned for more!

paradise.

Another vacation page! This page is made with the new My Favorite Story collection from PinkFresh Studio. This is such a pretty collection! I only ordered a few papers, some floral ephemera, and the chipboard flair.

I share a process video HERE. I tore strips of patterned paper, placed them along the sides, and then added the floral die cuts under the torn edges.

Next, I worked on my shaker title. It's a free cut file from Paper Issues and I filled it with Hazy Summer sequins.

This photo is from our trip in December to Playa del Carmen. My inspiration for this page came from Scrap Our Stash. This month the have a color challenge + use something from each letter in your first name. So I used Aviator cut file; Silhouette machine; Hazy Summer sequins; Leaves; Ephemera; Yellow.
Then I just tucked in some of the flair pieces all over the page. Thanks for looking!
