Tonight I played along with the August 1 sketch challenge at Let's Get Sketchy. I love sketches with multiple photos and this one was perfect for our honeymoon trip to Chicago. We stopped by the Lincoln Park Zoo briefly and I wanted to scrap those photos.
Thanks for looking!

Scrap Our Stash August 15 Blend a Sketch challenge.
Hi guys! Today I'm sharing my Scrap Our Stash blend a sketch challenge for August 15! Here are the sketches:
I chose the photo placement and matting from the left sketch, but I used one photos and one journaling card instead of two photos. From the sketch on the right, I followed the vertical placement of the paper and title. Here's my page:
This lemon paper is a little bold and lemony for me - even though I do love lemons - but some how I thought it would be great for this page!
Instead of doing the scalloped paper from the sketch on the right, I lined up some washi tape and embellishments. It was fun using some arrows from my stash!
Thanks for looking - can't wait to see what you guys make! :)
supplies
patterned papers, washi, stickers: Pink Paislee (Pick Me Up)
project life card: Elle's Studio (June 2018 kit)
alphabet stickers: Simple Stories

Scrap Our Stash August 1 Golden Globe challenge.
Who doesn't love this movie?! Today I'm sharing my page for Scrap Our Stash August 1 challenge.
My inspiration came from a quote in the movie (by Brad Pitt): I may be an outlaw, but you're the one stealing my heart. I thought it would be great with some of our engagement photos. I used three journal cards on my page - can you spot them?
You also must include the word "friends" on your page. I kept my journaling really simple and stuck it down in the corner so to not take away from my photos. It just says my boyfriend... now my fiance.
So I used two journaling cards on this page - the 'XO' card is one and the other one is a graph paper print that I flipped horizontally and layered behind. Use your journaling cards in unconventional ways! Thanks so much for looking!
supplies
patterned paper: Elle's Studio (Noteworthy)
journal cards, stickers, die cuts, stamp: Elle's Studio
ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black)
