31 Weeks

Yes, I really am 31 weeks. Yes, I know I'm tiny.

This has been a really interesting pregnancy...very different from Carter. I feel like I should be a lot bigger than I am. I think that at this point in my last pregnancy, I could fit into all my maternity shirts and they looked fine. With this pregnancy, I tried some shirts on the other day and I still had like 4 inches of growing room and it was obvious. I'm thinking she's going to be a small baby, which I'm totally fine with.
I think she's been hanging out in my back during the night, so I sleep terribly and wake up in pain about 5 times during the night to switch sides to see if the pain lessens up at all...unfortunately, it doesn't. So I wake up in mega amounts of pain each morning. But, as soon as I get up and start moving, I'm fine! It's quite the blessing.
I also don't get a lot of heartburn like I did with Carter. (Hopefully that doesn't mean she's going to be bald.) I just have to take a tums before I go to bed and I'm fine...which is also a blessing.
I've been having lots of braxton hicks contractions lately that are pretty intense and frequent but I think my body just knows that it's gonna need a lot of practice before I'm ready to push this baby out!

Confession.

I LOVE politics.

Ask me anything about the GOP race and I can tell you. Ask me almost anything about what is going on in the world today and I can tell you...Syria, presidential campaign, contraception...anything.

I'm kind of ashamed to tell you this, but there have been 19 GOP debates and I've watched all of them. I would rather watch CNN than any other channel.

I don't know what it is about the political world, but I love it. Maybe it's the fact that my senior year I took US Government and my teacher said that if we take anything from her class she wants us to be educated voters? Maybe it happened when I took a policy class in college that I loved and became very opinionated after? Maybe it's because there's a mormon (at one point there were 2) running for president and I'm curious to see what he says and does? Maybe it's just because I love this country and I think it's important to be educated on the issues? Maybe it's all of those reasons? Who really knows...but I love it.

My Valentine's Day was Better Than Yours...

Wanna know why?!

I got to go to the Lady Antebellum concert! It's actually a funny story. My mom gave me, Mark, and my two sisters tickets to the concert for Christmas and it just happened to be on Valentine's Day. So Mark and I kept our promises of not doing anything for one another but we still got to do something and boy was it wonderful.

The group is so talented and they also came with Darius Rucker (ya know, from Hootie and the Blowfish) and a newer group called Thompson Square who are a married couple and at the end of their set the husband gave his wife some roses for Valentine's Day. It was so cute!

Well, I would have pictures to show you, but my camera is broken so I didn't take any (no I didn't break it on purpose to get the wifi camera, I'm not like that.)...but you can just trust me that we had an awesome time!

Super Cool

So remember that one post I did with a lot of pictures and I said I wished I had a camera that had wifi so I could easily upload them!? Well, guess what? I found one!

See:
Isn't it beautiful?

On Samsung's website it says "share moments wirelessly, instantly." Doesn't that just sound like the perfect camera for bloggers? Now all I have to do is save up $179.99 so I can get it. Wish me luck!
