I have been reading my friends' blogs for a long time and thought I might sometime start my own, but never have. Now that my mom and dad have just left on an LDS mission I am excited to have a fun, easy way(hopefully) to keep in touch with everyone! Thanks to mom for starting the process and to Heidi and Katie for getting all of our blogs set up for us!

Bailey is mad at me!

Last night I returned home from a girls weekend to St. George with my college roommates from USU. We had an awesome time being able to just eat, talk, shop, go to movies, karaoke and get all caught up on each others lives. I definitely needed this time to go relax and have fun and I felt refreshed and excited to come back home and be a better wife and mommy. Most of my family was excited to see me, too. Alyssa came running to me with hugs and screams, Katelyn took a quick minute out of her busy play schedule to give me a quick hug, Mark came over with a big hug and kiss, but Bailey... let's just say that I hope she can get over her abandoment issues and forgive me for leaving her for 4 days. She had been perfectly happy and then when I went and picked her up she stared at me with a confused look on her face and then burst out in tears. I could not console her and had to hand her over to her daddy to calm her down. I tried again a few minutes later with the same sad result. I decided I had to just let her watch the Super Bowl with her dad because she did not want anything to do with me. A couple hours later I cautiously entered the room she was in wondering if she would eventually warm up to me. Nope, the second she focused on me her lips started turning downward into a big frown and then the screaming began again. I quickly ran out of the room and decided I had to laugh about it instead of being devastated!
