Bugs. Lots and lots of bugs.

Ewww. Need I say more? Yes, of course. This, dear friends, is a Jerusalem cricket. It was in my bathroom. I freaked out, and then I took pictures. Then I made Mark kill it. It moved too much like a spider. Next time I will be nice, and maybe pick it up in a cup to take it outside for some other predator to kill.

Scrapbook Trip 2011!

Fawn and I went to Palm Springs this year for our 7th annual scrapbooking trip! We had a great time. I didn't get as much done as usual, still recuperating from our move! We managed to make some notes this time about all our past trips, and some ideas for future trips.

Jared's photos are on his FB page. Here are some of the ones I stole from there, with more description! The ones from my previous post really give the whole overview of where they went.

Jared got back home on June 23, to a fairly empty house. Brittany was at work, and we had moved. He went out with his friends later that night. We got some really nice texts from him while he was gone, and we are so glad he had such a wonderful, spiritual experience!

Marigold Fields!

I was driving out to do some shopping and saw these broad stripes of color. I couldn't tell what they were, and then I got closer and realized they are marigold fields!!

Heritage Tours

Here's how I left Brittany

She was just sitting on the couch, watching us leave, looking a little frightened of being alone there in the house. Jared was on his trip to Heritage Tours, and he wouldn't be back for two more weeks!

New Park in Alpine

Wouldn't you know it, they built a new park in Alpine just before we moved. Kiersten had a goodbye party there on Friday, the last day before we left. It was finally warm enough to play in the splash pad, but just barely! When we got home, Tanner had just arrived back from scout camp in Moab, and he was already in the shower. I think he was in there an hour before we saw him!

Brittany's move

Brittany decided to sell her contract for her apartment so she can save some money. She is going to be living in our house for the summer. I went with her to the apartment and we moved the rest of her stuff out and cleaned it. She took some pictures to post on her selling ad and we moved her into our house upstairs in the loft.

All Packed and Ready to Go

The movers came and packed us, and we are ready to have this house empty so we can clean it!

Jared's High School Graduation!

We went out for dinner at Mimi's before Jared's graduation. Then we went to the graduation ceremony at the Marriott Center. There wasn't much time before to take pictures, but we got a few.
