Day 1: Diary of our trip to Park City Mountain Resort

Day 1:
I put my two boys into snowboarding school and then took my 4-year-old daughter to ski school. This was after working through a few kinks in the morning, i.e., finding my lost 9-year-old son in the plaza, picking up our rental equipment, showing up late to lessons, being told by my 6-year-old son that ankle socks are NOT comfortable in snowboarding boots, buying new thick, tall socks so my boys could switch at lunch. (Getting this equipment oversight fixed made a BIG difference.) Isaac, my oldest, said, "Mom, Instructor Justin was VERY patient. He's cool." That cracked me up!We eventually had a FABULOUS day. Lucas was so exhausted from our flight and time zone changes that he quit an hour early and went to the lodge for a little R&R and coloring. (What an awesome option!) The kids are thrilled about the chance to come back tomorrow.

This is the ultimate tubing experience. The snow is perfect-packed and slick. So much fun!Park City Mountain Resort caters to families. We discovered that Gorgoza Park features a lift-served, lighted tubing hill. There are also a miniature snowmobile track and the Fort Frosty play area. When you’re ready to come in from the cold, there’s a cozy yurt to warm up and drink some hot cocoa. It is the perfect place for family fun.Sweet Snow Sisters night tubing: Marie, Kelly, Lisa Marie, Kim-Marie @ LuxuryTravelMom. (Which of these names is not like the others?!)
