Let it snow

These are photos I took Christmas day. It is snowing quite heavily right now so I thought I should record how bad it looked last week. Our mailbox is almost covered. You need to dig a little inlet for your mail carrier to get through or they will not deliver your mail.
This is our driveway. I think I went 5 days without driving. Because of snow drifts our driveway was about 2 feet deeper than this the next day. I did not need to go anywhere bad enough to dig out. After 5 days or not driving and well below 0 temps my car would not start.
This is the little path I shoveled for Mike hoping he might have a chance to join us Christmas day.
After a few days of good snow we experience a day of rain. This keeps the snow level down but there is a thick layer of ice everywhere.

Santa and Dasher at the ski resort

Yesterday we took the kids snowboarding. To our surprise Santa Claus and Dasher were there. Dasher even brought her baby. What a treat.

Lucas' new haircut

Something came over me last night and I decided to talk Lucas into a short haircut. After a little coaxing he agreed to the short haircut.

Lucas has said about 90 times since the haircut that he looks "WEIRD".
He now regrets the short haircut. I said it will be long again in a few months.
Isaac was not being too cooperative getting his picture taken so I am posting a gooney bird picture of him.
This is the shortest Lucas' hair has been since birth. Isaac thinks it is strange and hard to get use to.

Decorating the Tree

Helping undecorate Ariel the Christmas tree. The little ornament hooks started jabbing her and then we decided it was not such a good idea to let her brothers illuminate her with Christmas lights.
