Shabby Chic cards

Hello! I hope you had a great weekend! Today I have a pair of Shabby Chic cards to share with you. I made them with the Creative Embellishments chipboards & products. Let's take a look... I started  cutting two 4 1/4″  x  5 1/2″ pieces of papers from the For get me Know collection by Lemoncraft and distressed all the edges .  I prepared all the chipboard applying a coat of gesso.  Next, I painted with white acrylic paint one of the  Braided Frames . I also took the  Bows  chipboard and painted with the white acrylic paint. I framed the  image with the Braided chipboard then I adhered the frame and bow to the paper. I added some flowers, cheesecloth and art stones to create textures. I painted a pair of  Layered Wings  with acrylic paint then adhered them to the center of the card. I added a doily and circular floral paper to create layers. Next I painted the Joy word from the  Christmas Sentiments .

Shabby Chic Cards

Hello!  Today I want to share with you two Shabby Chic cards that I created using Creative Embellishments products. I put together two pieces of patter paper by Studio 75 that I distressed the borders with the scissor and I adhered them to a white rectangular card base.  I gave textures to each card with modeling paste and two stencils: Crackled Brick  , Fairy Dust. I used the Fairy Dust stencil to create textures on the background . I took one of the Butterflies Set of 3  and applied gesso with a sponge. Then adhered it to the card. I gave two coat of gesso to the Bird Cage 4 piece set  and adhered to the card. I stamped the sentiments on a white cardstock, cut and glue them to the cards. Other supplies I used: Studio 75-  The Peony Avenue Prima Marketing- Modeling Paste Metallic acrylic paint- pearl Blue Fern Studios- flowers Stamperia- sentiment stamp Martha Steward- heart punch Creative
