Happy Monday!!! I'm behind with my blog, I've been health problems lately. But today I'm showing you a page that I made inspired in a halter dress that I did a month ago and I used the beautiful Vintage Spring Basics Collection...this collection has beautiful colors and designs.  I combined my DT work with Scrap Africa- challenge 18( use texture paint or modelling paste, either with a mask or free hand and any other wet medium like paint or mist etc..) This time I worked with lilac colors and I added some paint to my molding paste to create a colorful textures in my background work. Today I will show you a page that I made with the June Mixed Media kit by My Creative Scrapbook .  This kit "ROCK" I love the burlap sheet, the beautiful Prima flowers, the Artisan Elements and all the beautiful embellishments and this is one of my inspiration with it.... My girl loves "Comic Cons" and she wears costumes for this conventions and in this photo she is dressed as Pinkie Pie her favorite character from the show.  When I saw this kit I knew it, I would have liked to work with this photo. I used  the Artisan Element like frame and painted, then I decorated around it with all the pretty embellishments from this kit. I painted the chipboard and I worked with a Prima mask of my own and paints to make my background design. Here's a gift box that I made with the Beautiful Vintage Spring Basics Collection by Maja Design.  This is a beautiful collection with soft colors and beautiful designs.  I bought this wood box in my local craft store, I love to prepare altered projects, too. I added textures with gesso and an extra design with a Prima mask. Closer details... I used the 6th of April for both sides of the paper to cover all the sides of this box, I also used the bottom strip of the paper that has a lovely phrase..Remember to Live! Hello everyone!!  This month I'm hosting the June challenge at Berry71Bleu that consist in making a project about "What do you most love to do in Summer" and you should use bright colors in it.  Every summer we go and do our trip and we stop in different places around Puerto Rico and I did my page using a photo of the last summer when we had our trip around the island. Here I am in the Mayaguez zoo, my kids love to go there every summer and we had a great time!!
