Birthdays and Visits
This is Zoey on her 2nd birthday...blue steel. She was fascinated by the flame on her birthday cake!
During his visit, Ron helped us to redo our front beds.
We have so many lovely places to swim here. This is a shallow beach called Sandbar. The weather has been so great.
The Hills visited for a week in June. The kids had an amazing time together.

May and June
The princess and the mower. Who doesn't do yard work in full ball gown glory?
Annie on her fourth birthday. Annie likes to pick her own clothes these days, which I love. She creates very unique ensembles.
Our baby chicks....eight to start....and we still have eight!
Getting ready for the big birthday party.
Fancy Nancy birthday.

Spring 2012
The spring has flown by. It is green in Vermont, and SO beautiful. Our yard has become a jungle of dandelions, ferns, perennials and grass. We have been preparing our yard and gardens, trying to figure out what is growing back from the previous owners. Annie and Zoey are getting big (next post will be their birthday party this weekend). They spend as much time as they can outside. Annie loves the cooking network and calls herself Little Giada. Poor Zoey...Annie calls her "Bobby Flay". They spend hours in the "sauce room", which is really the outside, underneath portion of our porch. Zoey talks much more these days and generally torments her sister. Annie takes the tormenting in stride, trying to teach Zoey about the world. In March we visited Enid for Ann's spring break. It was a blast, and of course...I don't have pictures. Aunt Katie? Tony had the opportunity to do the flyby in the Red Sox home opener, and 100th Anniversary of Fenway. From our yard we have spotted deer, turkeys, a beaver, birds, birds and more birds, chipmunks, fox, skunks etc. Something ate our last chicken, but we have more coming tomorrow. The adventure continues. We are starting to feel settled!
Here we are dying eggs for Easter. We spent the holiday with my grandmother, mother, aunt and uncle in Wardsboro. These pictures aren't in order, so I will write a quick caption for each.
Zoey was confused by the whole process! You want me to what?
Annie is her pretty pink Easter sweater.
Vermont doesn't offer much in the way of beautiful spring weather. The girls were in their little outfits, AND many layers of winter gear. We went for a walk after our egg hunt.
Zoey eating the dyed egg....shell and all.
As close as I could get to both girls in their outfits together.
Spring picnic in the backyard.
Abigail and Olivia visited from Rhode Island. The girls were so happy to be reunited.
Annie and Zoey in OKC (March).
