diseased blog.

wee my blog is dying slowly and i really cant bring myself to revive it like before. hahaha.

anyhows,
im really glad that the vietnam trip took place with the 10 other lao laos.
most of us whom i have talked to felt that it was a really unexpectedly fun and conflictless trip, especially when we are such a huge group.
most importantly, we feel that we have grown closer to a few of the others in the group.
its really a heartwarming thing to know, when its already the last semester of the year 4s. :)

all 11 of the old people, with squirmy. <3

it's late at night and i can't sleep

when you think life sucks..
check out this,

http://stevenlim.net/models.htm

just read the descriptions of each models. very interesting.

"Too handsome and classic already! 永远的帅哥!This is what a prince should look like. Good for all events. "

"Adeline crosses her arms, a real fantastically nice meticulous human beings that every one likes to work with. She makes anyone feel so much at home. "

"Daniel's smiles dazzles and chase away all the cloudy clouds in the sky. Cos he is sheer sunshine guy. Handsome, charming, looks like zai zai!" Ref No: 1216

"Looking great! Just like a high class 贵父and yet still very humorous and interesting...This girl is our beloved model and talent 姐姐" Ref No: 1204

"Chanel looks and sounds so branded and this is actually her real name! Looking beautiful and very attractive, this girl attracts lots of eyeballs."

can someone explain to me the crossing of arms, putting of hand cross the chest and of cuz not forgeting the thumbs up/pointing to oneself poses?

sometimes, its rather normal to look at just the photo OR description.
but when you put them both together... tadahhh!! hahaha
real interesting to find someone familiar there.. which makes me wonder... WHY??!!!

anyhows..
i love my current job. dont think i should say what i do at work. but yup some of you will know hahaha.
so much so that im freaking scared of Karma now, seriously. i didnt purposely ask for it so please nooo.. i promise to buy the lego brick! lol. i know its gonna end real soon so im cherishing it.

meanwhile im crazy about cardio and other activities.
yesterday tennis, yoga, run, cycle.
today tennis, cycle, weights, swim.
tomorrow.. 30k haha exxxcittted.
weeee it feels good and good time killer too.

on a random note,
the way people act/think at times never fail to keep me confused.
it has also made me think more about the different perspectives in lives, even when they are sort of, retarded.
haha. dammit i have no idea how i wanna put it. too general.
maybe next time when i've got inspiration.

i love this song.
im probably the rare few around who thinks this way but i think the movie is not good, other than the awesome graphics. its simply overrated. too predictable. too lucky. and yeah of cuz, the movie's never-say will-die attitude. :/

to those who are having papers soon.. maybe you be as powerful as 2012.

open your eyes

recently, i realized that time passes extremely fast.
which means that we will die very soon.
i've stopped thinking long term.

i went through abit, and saw alot from my surroundings and the people around me. which all make me understand what 'life is short' exactly means.

to those who merely fall out of love, didnt do that well in university/work, no luck in gambling, or any other tiny weeny things which make you think you are having a damn sad and unlucky life. its not all that bad i guess
maybe thats true to a certain extent, life is sad for such people cuz they often overlook the good things they have been possessing and focus too much on the negative side that they think that life is f-up. hello... time to open your pretty eyes and look at the bigger picture. life is not just about your own piece of puzzle. there are so many people around you who are less fortunate yet they are happier than you. perspectives can really make so much differences.

family, health, friends.
we can lose them anytime.
maybe later, maybe next year.. but never never.
but alot of times we choose to think that these are perpetually with us.

so maybe treat yourself and those whom you love like they are dying tomorrow.

babe, its not gonna be easy but be strong.
we all love you. :)

back on the 5th :)

hello.

seems like its been some time since i blogged.
busy with so many other things and just dont feel like blogging. am doing so only because im going to spain/morocco tomoro. (im just scared people will forget about me during my 21 days there)

im almost done with packing. and as usual, i have reached a point after 2 hours when i just cant be bothered if i have missed anything. zzz. continue tomoro afternoon. haha.

anyhows, i will be leaving later at 840pm flight to madrid, and i will be back on the 5th june 11+am i think. I will have auto roaming, so just text me if theres a need! and.. dont forget one particular day when im in morocco..... hurhur! :)

for the past few weeks, i have been spending alot of time vice-ing. POKER and MAHJONG. omy. be it hall, family, arts or t19. my last meal of the day is often at 8am hall breakfast, when all the 'heavily raining', 'thiza my card' and 'qi ge qi wan' come. a sign of tiredness. i will miss almost daily poker session in lounge man. and im glad my vice-ing luck is here!! hahaha. 来了!!
o something random, i miss tioman! one year flies!! omy.. as usual, i was reading my own blog again.. i miss the nua-ing times. why does time loves to travel so fast? ah. somehow.. i think that going to spain means that its the start of the end of my last holidays of my life.. thou yes, by right i can still have june and nov/dec hols. but still.. its the last big break before i go out. -.- why am i cynical about my graduation trip? nonsense.

last week went to club.. after like 31 thousand years ago at zouk for nussu bash. i can only say its super awesome and funnnn! omy. hmmm, 怎麽说呢??hahahahaa.

just now after supper at newton we had a very impromptu decision to go marina barrage, with the 2 men who never seem to grow up. we had to make do with a 3.2mp carl zeiss lens camera. haha. ah fu we are happy for you! :D

and some pics where yang brought me to audi fashion festival last week.

okay. i should go to bed now. need to use my brain to pack my stuff tomoro. haha. goodluck to those SIM people who are still having papers, those interning/waiting for intern, having driving tests, nua-ing, traveling. its been 2 years since i will be away for so long, it just feel surreal as usual for now.. until i land on Madrid i guess. haha.

and lastly, thank you to my <3s

>
goodmorning,
many still loves. :)

SMU grads top earners
By Jane Ng & Amelia Tan

ECONOMICS graduates from the Singapore Management University emerged the top earners last year in the latest graduate employment survey.
Their average monthly salary of $4,164 was a notch higher than the $3,971 earned by business graduates from the National University of Singapore.

The top earners from the Nanyang Technological University were graduates from the chemical and biomolecular engineering who took home $3,232 a month.
The survey of the Class of 2008 was released by the Education Ministry for the first time.

Previously, the three universities would separately release their own employment surveys, but the different benchmarks they used confused some students.
Explaining why it decided to take over the publishing of the graduate employment survey results, MOE said on Friday that the intention is to help students make informed course decisions.

'The data gives prospective students a general indication of the employment conditions of the graduates from the various degree courses offered by our local universities,' said an MOE spokesman. 'We understand employment conditions may have changed since, but we hope that the data may still be useful as one point of reference for the students.'

The survey polled graduates who had completed their studies in May or June last year and had started working by Nov 1.

At first glance, the salary levels and overall employment rates and remain largely unaffected by the economic crisis.

Among the top earners are teachers and engineers. Teachers who got an Arts (with Education) from the National Institute of Education make an average of $3,207 a month. Graduates from the engineering faculties, which have been struggling to get students into the course, still rank among the top earners.

Engineering graduates from NUS earned between $2,864 (environmental engineering) and $3,049 (computer engineering), while those from NTU earned between $2,891 (environmental engineering) and $3,232 (chemical and biomolecular engineering).

Overall employment rates were also positive. At NUS, information systems students from the school of computing and dentistry students saw a 100 per cent employment rate.

ok. i think this is nonsense. go to the website and check out the pdf files for the survey results of the 3 unis. the issue is not really which uni's graduates earn more. its the 2nd sentence of this article totally wowed me. $4k per month for a fresh graduate with just one year working experience?

trying to kid the jc students or some ignorant undergrads? HAHS. maybe only dean's listers are free for the survey la. hurhur

RAHH I am starting to feel constrained cuz i edited some stuff that i typed. cuz. my boss did the survey. -.-

hello byebye

happy april's fool! haha. i got scolded by clar when i was sweet enough to wish her. TSK. anyways. its been some time since i blogged with pics, and the past weekend was damn haps so i shall post up some pics.

beach fiesta 2009
TEAM AARON AND THE CHIPMUNKS
16 captain's ball teams fighting.

i took this. buahahaha.

sat was FREAKING HOT. so hot that alan is still RED today. HAHAH. hes perpetually shy now.
anyways it was so hot that we couldnt run bare footed on the sand. i tried and i almost burnt my feet. -.-

hahah nice pose i have there. sat was just so tiring. but i guess its worth it. been sometime since i sentosa also.

aaron with our prize of $250!! hahaha now we some money for poker at night! weee. i was literally jumping for joy and hugging people after the whistle in the final game. it was a super close call of just one point difference. seriously lady luck was in our team. the team fighting for champion was darn strong. but somehow, like how aaron and kenneth had cramps during the last arts open, our opponent team's 2 players had very bad cramps. and they are the zai players.

but still, it wasnt an easy fight at all. thanks to everyone! i think i didnt run my best. :( it was nice to see everyone putting in effort not just by running around but also strategising on how to play with different teams. its when brains come in handy at sports! im just very happy because finally, since i was freshie till now, other than 2nd runner up prizes, i never get to be the first. quoted from bingde, CB champions. :D

last week- year 3

2 years ago- fresh year 1
WE ALL LOOKED DAMN UGLY!! esp that many yong. -.-
hahahahah.

sheares hall dinner and dance

i only decide to go rent costume at the very last minute at 3+pm on the day itself. hahaha. im quite glad i did it. if not how boring it that.....

cjcians in sheares hall

blk c runners! had alot of fun running with them. running in hall will probably be one of the most missed activity in hall.

i love this pic.
but booo i was damn stupid cuz i brought my camera to dinner without battery. so now my photos are alllll overrrrr. boohoo.
o and how i can forget to mention that i won 5th prize in the lucky draw!!! hahahahah

tell me its the start of better luck. :)

i have to start saying hello to byebyes already.

fyvm

fuck you very much by lily allen.

hahahah i LOVE this song. awesome.

a happy angst song.

HAHA.

anyways. last few weeks of my schooling life. im glad i did Economics out of all the arts majors, cuz at least it got me something that some others didnt manage to get. and im gonna start working soon. i know many of you cant imagine me in my future job. HAHA. i guess i just need to be tamed and control my laughter. hahs. been thinking alot of long term stuff and talked to some people to further convinced myself about the decision im about to make. had to weigh the many short run and long run factors. sians. owells. at this point of life, i cant think short term anymore.

all that shimmers in this world is sure to fade.

i realize ive been quite cynical recently. HAHAHA. -.- but its true, nothing is forever. hah. im glad part of me cant wait to experience new shimmers as well. as for now, im gonna cherish my last few weeks as U060820N ( i know what the first 2 digit means ok) by spending time with those that matters the most, those whom i cant live without, esp in NUS.

haha i wish i could go back to the starting point at ARTS CAMP 2006. ok i think its a sign i should go to bed now. hahaha

o, working at Mosaic at Esplanade was fun. will be there this weekend too, find me if you are there! :)
