I am feeling restless and lonely, so this is mostly for me....
10 Things I Love Right Now
1 - Netflix
2 - Tulips ALMOST ready to bloom
3 - Relief Society Volleyball (Strictly for the humor at my physicality, mind you, but still fun)
4 - Easter candy and Hard-boiled eggs
5 - My healthy children
6 - Flavia De Luce...#3, thank you Mom!
7 - Reading all your blogs and feeling happy for what's going on
8 - House cleaning done for the week, even though it came in the form of fast, meticulous house-showing cleaning....it's still nice to have it done.
9 - Happy, helpful neighbors that let me dump my children, and sometimes myself, off at their homes whilst we are without Dave
10 - A quiet house after the kids are asleep.
10 Things I do NOT love right now.
1- Potty-training. What a mess. What a joke. I hate it.
2 - Making my house spotless just to hear, "It's beautiful, but it doesn't fit my client's needs."
3- Being the single mom all week, which results mostly in grumpiness by 6:00 pm every night.
4 - Wondering and worrying how much longer we're really going to have to do this separation thing.
5 - Worrying about what on earth we'll do if someone actually wants to buy our house since we can't seem to figure out where we're going to live in Preston.
6 - Gas Prices...they're complicating everything.
7 - This frigid Idaho weather that REFUSES to officially change to spring. It's getting ridiculous. I'm sure the Vitamin D deficiency is the reason for my ranting.
8 - Not being able to run/exercise for the last 5 months...it's taking a most definite toll on my waistline.
9 - My lack of willpower when it comes to sweets and baked goods.
10 - A quiet house after the kids are asleep.
I am a list-maker, through and through. Now I realize how short and blunt it appears. I wish I had your story-telling abilities, Marissa. I wish I took more pictures of my beautiful children to share with everyone. I wish I knew what the plan for my family is. But somewhere deep inside, I know, not just wish, that we won't be abandoned, and we're going to be okay. I just wish I knew when.
PS....Do not watch the movie Rabbit Hole while you are toying with self-pity. You will hate yourself afterward. But I do recommend the movie...it is excellent.
