Travelling

As the holy date draws near, there have been lots of talk about what to do during the period after ord and before we start another treacherous 4 years journey.

Not too long ago, there was a suggestion of having a chalet, but it died a silent death, apparently no one was that keen enough to organise.

The most popular idea was to go overseas, travel, see new things, experience a different culture. Places like Taiwan, Hong kong, Australia have been thrown up. It seems almost everyone is eager to go. Discussions were lively and enthusiastic.

I used to be in awe when I look at pictures people took when they go overeas, Enough of looking at pictures, I want to see and experience it myself.

It will be certainly be fun to go on an overseas trip with friends, and one paid by cash out of your pockets probably make it even more memorable. Nothing beats enjoy the fruits of your own labour. Haha.

But it will be one planning nightmare I guess.

So anyone keen on a trip?

national day, 090807

It's a public holiday today, but it did not feel like one. Stuck in camp the whole day.

Anyway, I have a song to recommend,《一人一半》。It is the main theme for the movie 881 directed by Royston Tan. It is a very simple song, simple music, with just only the guitar as the main, sole instrument and with simple yet meaningful lyrics.

Enjoy.

Stars and the Crescent.

I found this picture in wikipedia, it's taken on the year 2000 NDP, quite cool compared to the usual bomb burst they usually do.
