We started it all by bringing Matt to the airport. For the first time, Madi cried the whole way home; already missing her daddy. After getting home, we rode bikes for a while and played at the park.
Grace wants to ride a big girl bike in the worst way. She admires her big sister!
After the park we went home for some lunch and naps. Madi finished a huge plate of food and was so proud of herself :)
Okay, and a little dance practice, too.
After naps, we had some snacks and snuggled for a bit. Once the bellies were filled, it was back to playtime! We went outside and turned on the sprinklers, filled up the water play table, and pulled out the chalk and bubbles.
My budding gardener took care of the flowers.
It was so fun! We even drew a few of the neighbors out of their houses and got to have an impromptu playdate. After all the messy fun, the girls sure needed a bubble bath!
Dinner time came after bath, and both kiddos were starving. They ate very well tonight. Aren't they just the cutest???
We followed dinner with some block building fun...
And then an episode of Little Einsteins before heading up to bed. They sure look worn out.
