Hey, I'm actually keeping up! Well, sort of. Since I live on the west coast, I think I'm the last one to get my post in each night. Sorry!
Anyway......on to Tuesday.
Our day started bright and early. Matt had to be up super early because he had his PT test at 8am today. Thanks to the wonderful traffic situation here in LA, that meant he needed to be out the door before 7am. Yuck. Anyway, when I went downstairs to fix his coffee and pack his lunch, Madilyn greeted me in the hallway. I sent her back to her room and told her she needed to stay there until the light turned green. She was not happy to hear this, but marched her little tush back in anyway. So, I made the coffee and packed the lunchbox, then promptly carried my cup of coffee right back where I belong at that hour of the day.....back to bed.
Around 715, Grace woke up and Madi came out of her room. The girls got dressed and had some fancy cereal for breakfast. Then it was out the door and off to school.
While Madi was at school, Grace helped me with all the chores around the house. We started by emptying the dishwasher.
That is hard work! So, then we had a snack. Yummy puffs, bananas, and a fruit and veggie pouch.
After snack time, my little helper helped me vacuum the downstairs.
Then we did some laundry.
And made a chocolate pie. Because who doesn't like pie???
Uh oh. Nap time.
Some 14 month-er is very sleepy. She also sleeps in some interesting positions.
While Grace was napping, I clipped the coupons from Sunday.
Then I listed all the diapers we're not using up for sale. I hope they sell out!
I also ate some lunch and watched a bit of "The Bachelor" from last night. Mama has to eat some time, right? I don't have photos. I was too hungry.
Nap time ended and I went to pick up a very happy little camper.
She was hungry again, so I fixed her some lunch. Peanut butter and jelly sammy with blueberries and a cup of milk. She seemed to like it.
Before we knew it it was time to pick up Madilyn. She had a good day at school with no accidents and took a nap! Yay! Once we got home, the girls played together and watched Little Einsteins while I fixed something for us all to eat.
Since Matt was going to the Lakers vs Suns game tonight, he wasn't going to be home for dinner. Matt rather despises all breakfast foods expect maybe cereal and bacon. So, when he's not around, we have breakfast for dinner. Tonight it was french toast and kiwi.
Bath time came next! Both girls love their baths. I wish Grace would stay sitting a while longer, though. She likes to stand and sing in the tub :)
I tucked Grace into bed while Madi played quietly in her room. Then as we do every night, she wanted to play her favorite horse game on the iPad before dozing off.
Once she was done, I turned on her lullabies and rubbed he back for a while. Sweet dreams!
Phew. And now it's only 830 at night, but feels much later. I expect it'll still be a few hours before Matt gets home. Perhaps I'll go try that chocolate pie...
