Sunday Morning

After church this morning, I thought Madilyn looked so cute in her little dress, I needed to take a picture or two. Since I know you all enjoy them as much as I do, I thought I'd share :) This dress was given to Madilyn by Matt's Aunt Tracy. Thank you Great Aunt Tracy!





A few days ago Madilyn and I met up with Natalie and Isabella at the base pool. I think we may go again today! Anyway, Madilyn played hard in the water and she was SO tired after. She passed out in her stroller cuddling her towel. Too cute. I love this kid.

Dinner and a playdate

Last night Natalie and Isabella joined us for dinner. We had a great time catching up after our vacations and it was fun getting the girls together again! Isabella is rapidly catching up to Madilyn! At this point, Madilyn is about 1 inch and 1 pound bigger.

Four Month Check Up

Madilyn had her four month check up yesterday and is growing nicely. She's going to be a very petite little lady. She weighed in at 12lbs 3oz and is now 24 inches long. This puts her in the 25% for her wight and the 50% for her height. Doctor said she's perfectly healthy, and we couldn't ask for anything more!

A trip to Aspen and Denver!

We had a wonderful trip! Sorry to those of you who check often, I know it's not like me to go so long without updating!!!!

Madilyn was an angel on the plane both ways, what a great baby. Our journey started with a quick overnight stay in Oklahoma City, where we met up with Adam for the afternoon and dinner. We all had a great time.

Next we me up with my Mom and drove to Aspen for the majority of the week. It was so beautiful. I really miss the mountains :(


While walking around the village, Madilyn wanted to have her picture taken with one of the bears.

Madilyn was so tired from playing, she passed out on her play gym while enjoying some fresh mountain air.

This kid really goes get cuter every time I look at her. What a charmer!

After Aspen, we got to spend an extra 48 hours or so in Denver. This was the first time Shelley, Elaine, Jordan, Taylor and many others got to meet her!

One Week vs. 3 1/2 months

Oh. My. Goodness.

Just a comparison of Madilyn in her carseat at one week and again today, at three and a half months.

Grandmas and Grandpas...

Sunday afternoon, Matt's parents and grandparents came for a quick visit to Altus. Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Merritt got to meet little Madilyn for the fist time. Although their visit was short, we were so happy to have them here! We hope you all had a great time and have safe travels back home!

Madilyns First Playgroup

A small group of girls around here have started a new playgroup for all these little babies in Altus (there are lots of them)! Today, Madi and I went with my neighbor, Natalie, and her daughter, Isabella. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again soon :)
