@@@Sophie's World@@@
She stood in front of the mirror and stared into her own eyes.
'I am Sophie Amundsen,' she said.
The girl in the mirror did not react with as much as a twitch. Whatever Sophie did, she did exactly the same. Sophie tried to beat her reflection to it with a lightning movement but the other girl was just as fast.
'Who are you?' Sophie asked.
She received no response to this either, but felt a momentary confusion as to whether it was she or her reflection who had asked the question.
Sophie pressed her index finger to the nose in the mirror and said, 'You are me.'
As she got no answer to this, she turned the sentence around and said, 'I am you.'

Sure, why not?
A conversation between a mother and a daughter.
M = Mom
D = Dommy
M: Hello, why did you call Mom yesterday? For what?
D: Oh, oh. I... It's... Hmm, it's about my year end holiday. I'm planning to attend some activities so can I go back later than the original date?
M: Oh~ Sure, why not? Ok oh~ Ok de. No problem.
D: Huh, really? Seriously?
M: Yap, of course. Since you have nothing to do at home anyway... Ya, I always do nothing besides more internet surfing at home, pathetic aren't I? >.<~ If got something to attend then go attend lor.
D: Then I'm going to change my flight ticket lor?
M: Yaya, can. What kind of activities leh?
D: Hmm, recently I've joined this... club? Dunno how to say club/organisation in Chinese so I only managed to blurt out club. =S I participated in the local event last week but the one at the end of the year is gonna be a national one. This year luckily the event is to be organised at UTM so there's no need to travel to other universities so... hmm ya, something like that? =__=;;
M: Ohh. Have you eaten? What are you doing now?
D: Hah? It's already 4PM lor. Of course eaten already. O.o Ah, I'm reading a book now.
M: Ho~ You're having a good life now. She's probably referring to my seemingly more active lifestyle now, seeing that I'm joining stuff and meeting new friends. Ya, with all those big bookstores available at W.M, it's like a heaven to me atm! \^o^/
D: Hehehe.
M: Ok, then no more lor?
D: Hmm ya.
~~~
Thanks, Mum. But sorry for the another wasted RM200. Yesterday the ticket was merely Rm310 but today when I checked it again, it's gone up to RM375. Sigh, no choice. ;__;
Who?
Somebody miscalled me just now. It’s an unknown. A string of alien numbers. Not Ah Gua or Ah Mao from my contact list. Not like I can remember every single person’s phone number but WHO nowadays is willing to take some little time and effort to memorise every number in their contact list? None, I believe. This complete reliance on the convenience of technology may even backfire one day. o.o
Michael Lynch from CPP said: "Brits' inability to recall numbers of their nearest and dearest means that many could be in a very tricky and distressing situation if their phone is lost or stolen, if they have no idea how to contact someone for help."This shows us that mobiles have literally become people's lifelines," he continued.Psychologist Dr Glenn Wilson added: "As technology gets more sophisticated, our own memories are on the decline as we increasingly rely on information stored on phones and online."
"While this reliance can be problematic if people are totally dependent on an external memory store that is lost or becomes temporarily unavailable, it can also affect an individual's mental agility later in life. Like many other skills, memory needs exercising if the capacity is not to be lost," he continued.
Anyway, back to the unknown number just now. =.=
Gave myself a few seconds to wonder about it and then I decided to list it down as Who? - in case it’s somebody I know so maybe I would need this number in the future. Just when I was about to send Who? an enquiry message, I discovered there’s another Who? in my contact list! Eeeek. O__o
Uhuh, it’s like seeing a pair of identical twins doing the same action at the same time at the same place and you went WOoWowoo. Well, instead I’m wow-ing at my past+present self. Hello, haven’t changed much yeah? Happy to know a fragment of me is still here. =>
Now what?
I started a blog (nicknamed 熊) nearly more than a year ago, purely out of boredom while waiting for SPM result + scholarship applications. Had so much to write back then but once the enthusiasm was over, I stopped writing - down from 10 posts a day to 5 posts a day, then from 5 posts a day to 1 post a day, and finally practically ZERO posts. That happened shortly after I entered Labuan Matriculation College (no, I'm not blaming it).
Oh well, things happened and it's now 2010, not to mention the year is nearing its end. In less than 2 months' time, I will turn 19 soon. NINETEEN. What a number duh. Ugh, actually I still feel unreal. Sometimes I wonder if I'm really 19 years old. 19 is a number, yeah. So what? What does it mean to be 19 or beyond that? What have I done to make me be proud of those 19 years? Have I really done enough? Have I kept enough memories worth of 19 years? Will I remember those memories? Do I even need memories to survive my twilight years if I have them? When have I become a person who cares about future if there's one for me? Am I seriously thinking about it? Questions oh questions.
