Banyak cerita- macam2 perkhabaran:) 

First of all I would like to thank everybody for the super nice compliments on my Dapur;):) Thank You again- ini activity terapi mind,apa pun taste kita,modern,classic or english, kecik atau besar, di bandar atau di kampung, dapur yang sedap mata kita memandang boleh menjadi tempat terbaik di dalam rumah untuk berkumpul:)

Terima kasih tak terhingga jugak untuk Ann- kalau Ann baca entri akak ni:) Maaf sangat2 kerana menolak - seperti yang akak cakap memang berbesar hati tetapi keadaan tak mengizinkan untuk shooting- Dapur akak nadi utama dalam rumah-situ lah tempat ibu yang dah uzur dan anak2 super active berkumpul:) :) Dah tu dapur tak lah besar (dalam gambar semuanya nampak besar dan cantik) susah nanti crew terutamanya the celebrity untuk bergerak:):)Tentunya akak seronok kalau dapat melihat dapur sendiri keluar dalam rancangan Nona- kalau Muna Fahzar yang berada jauh di rantauan itu dekat di sini surely akak rekomen- akak sangat suka dapur Muna:);) semua ruang di rumahnya pun sangat menenangkan perasaan;):)

Nanti Ann boleh tengok di bawah banyaknya masa kami di dapur:);)

First time tak ada air!!!! Havoc- Mashaallah itu baru di uji 1/2 hari- kecoh jadi nya apabila nikmat Allah  Swt yang puluhan tahun di berikan pada kita hilang hanya 1/2 hari:) Alhamdulillah my area tak pernah putus air dan tak termasuk dalam catuan- tapi sejak minggu lalu mula kena catuan - itu pun 1/2 hari ajer tak ada- sebab hari yang lain air di tank cukup utk kegunaan- bagai lipas kudung orang2 di area ni mencari bekas air on the first day- because we thought it is going to be long like other area:) Habis malam tu semua orang keluar ke Aeon Big mencari bekas:)

That first night all bottled water at the hypermarket was finished- we were left with Evian only! Lucky we managed to buy Spritzer from the neighbouring 711:) kalau Evian we can only wash bijik mata macam cerita PRamlee:) We bought 30 big bottles of Sprizter for 1/2 day  tak ada air- mandi and segala benda with Spritzer:)

Semua water container kat hypermarket pun habis terpaksa lah beli storage box ni- the next day i bought 2 more from hardware shop- now syukur alhamdulillah- routine 1/2 day no water is on but we have enough supply from tank and container;)

These two girls dapat new printer- too many school project that needs pictures etc,etc- the old printer was like 5 or 6 years ago! rasa laju nya the new printer;):) In the evening they will do their homework at this room next to the kitchen- kejap buat kerja kejap tengok cats kat belakang,kejap bukak fridge,kejap bukak tv:):)

Whenever we go to the Ikano- the two always ask us to take them to Dome- not for the food but for "Babycino" they love it- the teeny weeny cup costed me RM9,90+9.90= nearly RM20! So i told the girls that i will do Mamacino for them- since then they had been pestering me to make mamacino at home- last week i found marshmallow with fish gelatine at Candylicious and i made them these mamacino;)

During this rainy season i love to make rice porridge/congee- it is so nice to sit in the kitchen and eat porridge with the rest of family members;)

Saturday i went to pasar besar TTDI- whenever i go there mesti gila membeli sayur kampung at the malay corner- it is not cheap i tell you but the sayur2 so cantik and i cant resist;);) Pucuk kemagi ni is my favourite- so sedap;)

Ramai yang batuk in the house- i buat semua dishes tanpa setitik minyak for lunch on saturday.

Steamed pomfret ( bawal putih) with chili,garlic,ginger and lemon- paling simple- bersihkan ikan yang dibelah belakang- sapu seluruh ikan dengan sedikit garam dan lada sulah yang di tumbuk. Tumbuk 10 biji garlic, seinchi halia, 5 bawang merah dengan sedikit garam hingga lumat, sapu seluruh badan ikan- oles minyak zaitun atas pinggan steam dan steam hingga masak- taburkan daun sup/bawang,cili, masukkan leman dalam kuah ikan ketika masih panas- sedappp;) semua benda termasuk lemon boleh di makan;)

We promised the girls to go swimming on Saturday evening but we had to cancel it because of the heavy rain- they asked " what should we do mama?" - I said ' lets each of us play one song and entertaint each other" - I tak pandai main piano before, masa sekolah instrument yang i main cuma recorder,angklung and a lil bit of flute- but my girls ajar me main piano and they are quite good at it- my husband memang ada basic sikit- now i am so proud that i can play ( walaupun baca notes) few of the children songs plus some good song including " happy birthday"..he he.. It was a good evening looking at the rain outside the window while listening to your girls playing " Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars" :);)

And let see what is Uwan up to while all of us played piano! A haaaaa… uwan melepak dengan sedapnya,hujan lebat kan,berselimut hingga tertidur mengingau kat tepi dapur;) While duduk dengar piano i renihkan chicken broth in the kitchen untuk buat Bee hoon soup for dinner and while waiting uwan tidur nyenyak kat sini- Sini memang tempat lepak dia- centre of everything- rumah tak besar  so semua dekat2- dekat tempat budak belajar,dapur, bilik air dan ruang tamu- perfect place for uwan- malam baru naik bilik tidur- turun naik tangga adalah exercise uwan tiap hari.

Who else melepak??? This guy si Stevie memang manja and a bit mengada;)

Our dinner- my bee hoon soup- tumis a lot of chopped garlic and shallot- masukkan ayam, tumis biar garing sikit, masukkan lada sulah di tumbuk halus, 3 sudu oyster sauce, sedikit kicap manis biar mendidih lama, kecikkan api- bila dah nak makan masukkan sawi, garam, masukkan bee hoon- bila dah layu last sekali baru masukkan fishball- cukup masak terus angkat;) makan panas with cili kicap or chili sauce sangat sedap;)

Finally today we took them to the Club pool early morning- penuh lah pulak kat area budak2- kena guna big people punya pool- so mama and papa kena supervise duduk dalam air sepanjang masa- since they dah mula belajar swimming di school tak lah takut sangat air dalam;) after sometimes dah okay and they enjoy it.

We bought this new handainted canvas shoes masa bawak uwan heni breakfast kat Uncle Lim Ikano semalam- cute kan , boleh cuci and priced at RM49.90.

Today after swimming we went to Bubba Gump for lunch and the two ordered this Disco drink- berkelip2 lampu glass ni:)

Balik rumah rehat petang masuk dapur lagi;);) Dua2 nak makan bubur kacang hijau- berkongsi tips untuk masak bubur kacang atau apa jenis bijian dengan kadar segera- kalau tak kan bijian ni lambat masaknya- bila rebus kacang/bijian ni jangan bubuh air banyak- cukup2 utk cover bijian- bila dah kering tambah lah sebanyak yang awal- repeat the process- in sha allah less than 20 mins dah  kembang and boleh makan;)

After Tea- mandi and masuk dapur lagi tunggu dinner;)

Tonight i masak dishes 3 negeri- ni Jawa Johor- sedap la sangat- goreng tempe&ikan bilis hingga garing, ketepikan,tumis bawang putih merah dan masukkan cili kisar, dah garing masukkan 2 sudu oyster sauce, sedikit garam, asam keping dan secubit gula, bila dah cukup masak,masukkan 2 sudu tempoyak, kacau likat, masukkan petai, dah layu sikit masukkan tempe/bilis goreng sekejap,gaul segera dan tutup api..nyumms:)

Ini gulai N9 campur Cik siti wan kembang- gulai ikan siakap dengan belimbing buluh dan petai style negeri tetapi di masukkan cili turkey dan tidak berapa pedas macam style kelantan- terpengsan-pengsan lah orang kelantan dalam rumah ni makan:)

Tukang masak kena sediakan brown rice untuk dirinya- kalau tak over makan over carbo lah jawabnya;)

This is from Mr Husband for me;) He knows i love lemon in my tea:)

Dua style pilihan from Country Living sebelum tidur;)

Would love to have something like this for Tia Mia one day;):) But where to find attic like this?;):)

MY Dapur in DAPUR.

Nearly forgot about the shooting of my kitchen 2 months ago:) Sekarang tema dapur dah lain sikit:)

Thank You to the Impiana DAPUR team- Suhaidah Abd Wahab, Asril Aswandi and not forgetting another guy (he was the Interior designer i think)- they have done a good job, the pictures are good- i like it:) I was a bit malu at first, my house and kitchen is small and nothing much to talk about- but the team is surely good in bringing out the best in anybody's kitchen:)

lastly Tuan rumah nampak so gemuk here- he he i cakap kat the photographer 'jgn bagi akak nampak gemuk okay" dia cakap " semua org pun cakap macam tu kak" ha ha ..i edited the photo here but if you look at the picture in the magazine my jeans under the jubah is not helping at all:( tak tau why i pakai jeans under the jubah,may be sebab Friday hari tu:):)

Compared to this kitchen my dapur nampak so tiny and bare:) Tapi Alhamdulillah dengan apa yang ada:)

And i like Wan Kamaruddin's (Al Hijrah presenter) kitchen too:) i think because of the rug:) His house is a bungalow at Bukit Jelutong:)

This one is a terrace at Putrajaya- very cute and sweet too:)

This month my kitchen theme dah bertukar:) dapur kecik kena lah tukar selalu supaya tak boring:)

Mengenang salah satu kenangan terindah ketika bercuti dengan rumah dan dapur yang comel:);)

Kecik or besar yang penting selesa dan kemas serta practical- one of my favourite kitchen is the farmhouse kitcthen at Torquay, Victoria- Australia- small but so warm and inviting:)

I dont mind to have a small kitchen that attached to the living room like this- it was airy with big windows and doors that opened up to garden.

The plank roof make so much different to the house.

Flying carpet,soft hands and blooming loves.

Wahhh I am so happy to receive response on the 'flying carpet':);) kalau yang minat corak tribal ni memang rasa sangat cantik:) I always prefer Tribal design compared to classic,romantic or modern. Mata kalau pandang jer yang tribal ni terus rasa cantik sangat.

I pun ada satu kat rumah- -memang ada jenis yang wool dia keras- macam yang i beli ni- hand tuffed sebab tu senget2 sikit but i like it;):) dulu beli dah lama sangat kat Lot 10 masa nak raya, ada jual tengah tu,dia nak habiskan stock very cheap actually dia nak let go RM680 i gasak bargain lagi until my niece cakap ' maksu dah lah kesian tengok mamat ni dah"..kih kih finally i got it for RM550, very good price and much bigger than sejadah lah;) Cuma wool dia memang keras- tapi after about 8 years dah lembut- trick dia letak tempat yang selalu kena pijak lembut lah dia. Ada 2 types yang lembut and licin pun ada and semestinya mahal- dah urut2 hari tu memang soft- yang wool mcm mine ni kalau basuh colour keluar sikit yang lembut tu basuh tak keluar colour.

Jenis ni jugak tak 'makan kotor" i letak depan fridge near tempat lepak uwan, jatuh lah kicap ke, chocolate cake ker- rupanya tetap macam tu;);) Actually tribal carpet ni makan lama makin berharga, if you go to rumah2 ladang(farm house) banyak yang really antique dan sangat cantik.

And this is the 'flying carpet" for my mouse;) he he ini lah corak classic- i bought from a Turkish stall in  Melbourne, Australia. Setengah orang suka corak ni tapi saya masih cinta kan Tribal design;):)

Today's story: i bought the girls two bouquets- just a cheap one from the famous Floristika Bangsar- but it means so much to them:) happy tahap gaban bahasa kasarnya:)

Why did i buy them bouquet? It is a little encouragement from a mama to her daughters:) They ve done quite well in their first test;)

Tia has above 90 for most of her papers;) while Mia is slightly below Tia  because she is a  bit over confident:) But to me both have done their best- good effort and mama is very proud of you;):)

May both of you be blessed dunia dan akhirat.

Now try to finish your Iqraq fast okay- mama and papa will be very very happy if you can move to Quran soon:)

Hari ni cuma nak share tips untuk wanita2 yang suka masak,tangan jadi kering,kuku kuning kunyit atau hitam dek dakwat sotong. Ini bukan iklan berbayar atau pun free:) just sharing a product which is good and effective on me. A non expensive Nivea for body and hand cream- after dah ada anak ni di tambah uwan yang makin uzur i hardly pay attention to myself, pagi siap pakai apa patut sebab dah penat masak bagai and zoom pergi kerja. Weekend hari tu kan membersihkan banyak ikan,sotong, hari tu duduk pandang tangan sangat kering,nampak sangat teruk,kuku pun kuning2 really lah macam tak berbela.Lunch time ajak my bff pi mall, tengok macam2 akhirnya beli ni kat Watson.I letak yang body losyen tu kat kaki instead of badan sebab cuaca kita ni panas tak lah tahan nak letak kat badan, bila bubuh kat office yang sejuk gilerr boleh lah bubuh macam se lepuk banyak macam tu.

The result is quite amazing! Instant smoothness and no wrinkles- i am quite impress:) Tapi abaikan lah jari2 yang berkuku really pendek,tak ada semi ni,tukang masak kena lah berkuku really pendek:);)

Taruk 2 x dah rasa beza- same goes with tumit kaki and jari2 kaki.

Kunyit dan dakwat sotong hilang- hingga menciutkan!
