The things I like.

Salam,

It was a very busy weeks- Hardly have time for myself- It was a honeymoon time in December when the girls were on school holiday:) Now that school has started everything has to be adjusted-welcome back waking up at 5.00 a.m:) 

Lucky these two are 'senior' already- standard two is so Alhamdulillah- nothing to worry much- they know the school,classroom,teachers and surrounding well- they seem happy- Alhamdulillah to the max.

Yang bertanya pasal the bench- okay akak gonna answer it here:) And yes Filla- samalah kita- so suka tengok tablecloth bila pi mana2 kan:) dapat beli seronok rasanya:)

The bench is not a sitting bench actually- we bought it from Ikea priced at RM329- it was a TV bench- untuk letak TV:):)- Kita orang beli sebab sitting bench dari Ikea tak tahan dan tak wide enough- dulu beli dah rosak patah etc- so we saw this TV bench it is sturdy, wide and white- fulfilled all the criteria that we are looking for:) Thinking outside the box- we bought this TV bench- balik hb pasang and we have a nice bench in the kitchen.

And ada ruang ni- boleh letak magazine and simpan barang in the drawers- i letak some pencil colours and pencil inside- senang Tia Mia melukis while waiting for the meal to be cooked.

TV bench turns into a sitting bench!

My sister has a new cat house- it is very nice isn't it:) She has extended her kitchen as she is going to terima daughter and son in law this year In Sha Allah;) How time flies- my niece and nephew are going to get married soon!

She pindah kan kucing2 dia yang 10 ekor before this duduk dalam big cage at the wet kitchen here- she call it a cat motel:) kalau i ada ruang besar pun mesti lah nak buat macam ni jugak:) She gave her big cat cage to me:)

I brought back the old boring cage and tried my best to make it nice and cosy for Elsa and Co.

I am so happy that i can transfer the cat from the wet kitchen to here- i tak suka they duduk kat bel;akang at actually- bersih macam mana pun bila ada angin mesti ada bau sesekali- sini beringin,luas, no smell- the girls pun happy:) Susah lah jugak memula nak adjust tempat grill tu mula2- my hb bising jugak how to put that big ugly cage kat depan rumah??? He said this is tempat mula2 org datang- cage tu besar buruk! he he- just sabar dear i ll make it nice and cosy okay:)

We still have our space and old home sweet home okay- and the cats at the front bring so much happiness;)

Now i can put back the table at the back- a small corner for the girls to play lego while i am cooking.

Then buat make over for this old ikea table lamp jugak.

Tia bought a tub of foam stickers from Adelaide - so we pakai ni buat deco.

It looks nice bila pasang lampu:)

I promised my girls to teach them how to make awesome hotdogs using the microwave only.

Bahan2 senang saja- hotdog buns- hotdog,leftover bolognese sauce, butter and olive oil.

Slit the hotdogs, buh sauce, and olive oil- kalau tak letak oil- nanti hotdogs dry dan berkedut- put in the microwave for 2- 3 mins or untul nampak merekah and masak.

Slit the bread buh butter and masukkan hotdogs- lagi sedap dari A&W okay:)

Yang di masak sepanjang minggu:

Simple but delicious mee suah.

Omellete with veges for breakfast

Brownies for the girls.

Yumms

Bawak bekal to school also.

Yang ni i bawak container ke Ikea dan pack balik.

Afforadable RM19.00 ribs from Ikea compared to RM80 from Tony Romas.

Hari ni ikut my selera;)

heaven makan kangkung belacan.

He he ni uwan pagi2- dia bangun awal- selalu i bagi dia cake atau biskut dulu after hotbath- bila budak2 dah pi school pukul 7.00 dgn their papa- baru bawak breakfast betul2 naik tingkat atas bagi uwan-dah tua2 macam ni lah kita- after hotbath pun masih sejuk and so kesian- sebab mata jaga awal- kalau orang tak bagi makan awal mesti lapar- dalam berlari-lari masak,siap bekal budak2 etc, mesti bagi dia something to makan dulu. Uwan is such a wonderful mother- no complaint- after mandi makan she is so happy and nyanyi2;):)

Ni anak uwan- dia berazam nak tukar reading glasses dia bulan ni- nak carik yg happening sikit design nyer but so susah yang sesuai:(

Shop in Adelaide? Please doa for me that i will have a shop that sell things that i like one day:) I love things for house- small things that make your house warm and feel really homely:) Small cushions that you cuddle, mug that you hold, tablecloth that you spread on you table- all play important roles in turning bricks and concrete into a home sweet home;) Annie i love your picture in Melbourne- i ve been to that Airey Inlets, 12 Apostles, we stayed at St Kilda and ate churros and fish&chips.

Berminat nak ke Australia? Yup they are lovely- some people rasa Australia boring but it depends on what you are looking for-me hubby and kids love the outdoor life, we love park,farm&market- simple thing like sipping hot chocolate by the lake is such an awesome thing to us.We ve been to Perth and few places in Western Australia, Sydney and places in Queensland, Melbourne and surrounding Victoria- we never get tired of Australia- the exchange rate is not that bad, the people is nice too. We ve been to few european countries- all in all- semua ada tarikan tersendiri. Yg bertanya okay ke summer nak pi Perth- i think kalau mula2 start summer macam December kita orang pergi ni okay- masuk January,February dah really panas- kan kat Adelaide Hills sekarang pun ada bushfire- panas dia orang lain dari kita- panas dia will hit our head directly when you stand under the sun- i tak tahan kalau pergi beach masa panas sangat sakit kepala. Some tips nak travel- dress decently and properly, behave well too- sometimes kita tengok foreigner serabut baju segala kita pun tak selesa kan- same goes with them- smile, say thank you, greet- it will help- Alhamdulillah so far baik2 saja- masa nak balik lalu Oz punya immigration rupanya Tia tertinggal her Mickey Mouse doll situ kita org dah masuk departure lounge that immigration lady berkejar dari belakang ikut nak bagi;); Ada anak2 kecik ni ada kelebihannya kemana ajer travel senang, byk yg suka- lalu immigration pun senang- kadang masuk kedai mesti dapat candy free:):)Now with macam isu2 macam di Paris, Sydney, AirAsia dah risau nak travel- dunia semakin kecik. Berdoa tak berhenti kemana sahaja.

Yang teringin nak travel ke overseas In sha Allah ada rezeki sampai lah- kalau tak happiness tu di hati- balik Kuala Pilah pun sangat seronok tau- now counting days bila rambutan nak masak- dekat ke jauh ke kegembiraan itu selepas doa kita yang menentukan- Cameron Highlands, Port Dickson, Kuantan adalah antara tempat di Malaysia yang kami suka. Apa pun Kuala Pilah lah yg nombor satu- Rojak Berahim, cendol tiada churros or fish&chips yang boleh lawan- cuma bila ada peluang dan rezeki ke tempat jauh kami manafaatkan sebaik mungkin.

Lets sambung cerita sikit:

On Friday we went to Adelaide Mosque at Little Gilbert lane, it was near the Adelaide town- we went early as we know once the Friday prayer starts it will be jam packed.

Built in 1888- so old- still standing strong.

It was early morning, the are has many trees- hence it was really cold there:)

Alhamdulillah- bila masuk kawasan masjid mana2 pun hati jadi sebak.

Original bricks and stones- just imagined built in 1888.

Sembahyang sunat first.

The beautiful and tranquil setting inside with oak walls and panelling.

Next room was section for ladies.

Menunggu orang habis sembahyang.

Subhanallah a very blue and clear sky.

Alhamdulillah dapat sembahyang sunat di masjid Adelaide.

Sama ajer macam kita.

Yang paling istimewa di sini rumah orang Australia ni yg jaraknya dengan masjid macam 10 langkah dah sampai dalam masjid- really dekat but they live in harmony- no complaint and nothing- according to one old lady there- every friday prayer when the jemaah fill the masjid until the road side it never fail to amaze her.

I prayed for everybody- utk mangsa banjir, untuk negara, muslimin dan muslimat- moga kita semua dilindungi- diberkati- di ampuni. Lindungi lah kami ya Allah.

Ada yang tanya- What did i buy? Ha ha i tak beli branded items pun- memang tak banyak shopping this time- last mins trip, duit pun so so ajer after dah bayar semua keperluan sekolah Tia Mia;:)

I bought towels!!! ha ha geram lah masa boxing day towel tebal2 dan besar macam kat hotel for AUD 5 only:)

And i bought few bottles of perfume- murah giler masa boxing day AUD 9 only! except my husband beli perfume mahal Mont Blanc dia tu- dia cakap tak ada kat mesia lagi- yor la tu- i rasa i paling cerdik beli 5 bottles perfume dengan harga AUD 50 only-mana nak dapat kat sini- tapi beli tak banyak ingat after lunch nak pi beli lagi- kedai dah tutup:( half day jer rupanya boxing day dah lah org beratur macam Jusco's members day.

And i bought tea too;) org pergi cameron jer beli tea;) Ni gambar kat kedai i beli setin jer yg besar;)

An i bought my favourite thing- alas meja per- ni dari Iran- kelakar kan pergi Australia beli alas meja Iran- bior ler kat Kolo Pilah tak ado:)

Balik rumah tak berlengah lagi terus pasang- and ada budak bergaya;)

Bench lama colour hitam pulak patah- so beli bench baru warna putih ni ada drawer boleh simpan barang2 macam extra table cloth, tea towel, vase etc- masa i travel europe dulu sewa apartment mat salleh tengok they simpan tablecloth, candles, vase semua kat kitchen- bila nak tukar senang ajer tak lah payah pi membongkar almari- ni kadang2 hingga lupa barang apa ada dan alas meja sampai berkurun tak betukar sebab asyik lupa nak pi ambik;)

Sebab tak ada beli barang dapur i mcm tak puas- kat airport Adelaide jalan2 jumpa French shop beli this cute cake stand and its cover.Boleh guna utk hidang macarons and cookies.

Dapat lah tukar2 sikit tapi happy besar- tahun baru ni org pompuan kan macam2 jer pandang kat dapur- keinginan tu tinggi, fridge dah buruk lah, microwave dah uzur lah tapi ingat anak2 sekolah belanja pun banyak- so bersabar dan bersyukur- ada orang hilang rumah dan segala yg di kumpul- tak dapat di bayangkan kesedihan.

Oh ye saya beli cardigan ni AUD10 kat Target sangat sedap pakai kalau tahu beli 2- masa beli ambik ajer agak2 tak sempat nak try- buh gambar kecik sikit segan lah mcm ngada2 gambar cekak pinggang bagai- kih kih- nak effect kurus kena lah camtu;):)

An everytime pergi mesti beli satu tudung dari French Connection kat Davies- i love the material;)

And i bought one practical bag boleh campak segala benda- pun dari French Connection- berebut dengan sorang makcik tu sebab dispaly satu jer- dia cepat bawak lari warna beige, tiba2 hb i nampak ada lagi salesgirl sorok bawah counter pi lah ambik- no gucci or lv -yang tak mahal and practical sajorkkk- kalau banyak ongkosnya mesti lah mahu yg macam2 ye tak:)
