Summer is finally here!
We are so excited to finally have some good weather!! Maddax loves the warm weather. He could live outside if I would let him. He loves to run and run and run!!! He also loves bubbles and swinging on the swings! He loves the park and running around and watching the other kids play. He isn't playing on the playground yet but by next year I bet he will get the hang of it.
We are excited for a few vacations we have planned this year. Lake Powell and Hawaii! We seriously can't wait!

Wow can't believe it is a new year! Happy 2013 everyone! Time sure is flying by way too fast! It's so crazy with a little one running around your days are short but it feels like its been two days!
Maddax is so busy and curious about everything! He loves this show Yo Gabba Gabba. It's not my favorite it really is annoying. But he sure does loved it! He even has Yo Gabba Gabba Vans that he loves! He is starting to get into toys and stuffed animals. He got this stuffed dog named Jingle and he loves this dog..... He carries it around with him everywhere he goes. He loves to cuddle it and pat it on the head.
I love this age! He is almost 16 months and he is so active! He has no desire to sit and hold still. It is such a struggle to feed him. He really is so funny he has to watch Yo Gabba Gabba while he eats and hold a spoon and a toy.
He is a really good stair climber. But doesn't know what to do once he gets up the middle of the stairs. So we have to block off the stairs now. He is running and walking all over the house. He walks in circles around the house and babbles and tries to say words.
He loves to chase the dogs around and play with them and tease them. He loves to take their toys and wait for them to chase him and he loves it.. He could do it all. day. LONG! It really is funny and makes him nice and tired for his nap!
It's been such a fun year and a few months with him. It is so crazy how fast it goes and how much he has changed from the chunky baby that sleeps all the time to the crazy toddler that doesnt have a roll on him and is going going going..... Its been fun and we feel so blessed to have him in our lives. Our little miracle baby.

Lake Powell 2012
We went to Lake Powell this year yay! Last year we weren't able to go so we were way excited to go finally!! We had a blast and Maddax had such a fun time and he LOVES the water!!

Cheese!!! He slept in our bed on this trip for the first time. . . It was interesting... A bit snug but was fun to snuggle with him!

Maddax 9 months old
Maddax is now 9 months! It has gone by so fast! He is getting so big and starting to do so many cute things! He is rolling all over the place and talking and saying a few words. Its so cute like mama, dada, baba, uh oh! I took him to the doctor today for his 9 month check up and he is 95% in weight, 85% in height, 75% in head circumference. Its easy to say he is a big boy! And healthy as can be! He is starting to copy anything we do or say its so funny. Crazy how they learn so fast and how smart they are at such a young age.
We recently went to Lake Powell and it was a lot of work to go with a baby! But he loved it and did great the whole week! He definitely got spoiled this trip everyone was holding him and trying to make him happy all the time! So he had a good time for sure. He loved to swim and splash in the water he loved playing in the water. He doesn't mind water on his face and he is just a little fish!
We have had so much fun with Maddax! He is the center of our whole world and we feel so blessed to have him in our family.

Where has time gone?!
I have really slacked on the whole blogging thing! But I am going to really start to try and do it so I can remember everything that is going on in life. So Maddax is now 7 1/2 months old!!! I seriously cannot believe that! He has been so much fun lately and seems so grown up. In April we finally got the adoption finalized and we were sealed in the temple and Maddax was blessed!! It was a very busy month but so fun!
I had no idea what to expect in the temple. But it was a really cool experience! When we first walked in they took us to this little room with toys and there were two older ladies there. They said they were going to take Maddax and get him dressed and take care of him until the ceremony was going to start. I didn't know this is what they did, I was planning on having him with me the whole time and dress him myself. But they took really good care of him and was a good boy for them.
We had asked Marissa my sister to be the one to hold Maddax during the whole thing. So that was cool to have here there to be apart of it. She was so nervous but did a great job! She was so cute with him and he was really good the whole time we were in the temple. He was so cute during the whole thing he just sat and stared at the Chandler above us and at Josh. It was seriously the cutest thing ever! We both were so emotional that day we couldn't believe this day was really here and that we were a family forever!!
We then went to Josh's parents house to bless Maddax and have lunch. It was so fun to be there with family and friends. We were so happy to have our birthmom Ellysha and her family there as well! We love her and her family, we feel so blessed to have them in our lives!! Josh did an awesome job on blessing Maddax and including Ellysha in that blessing and telling him how lucky he was to have such an amazing birthmom that loved him and wanted the best for him.
It was a fantastic day and really fun to just be with family and our close friends. It really meant a lot to us that all of you came to share our day with us. We feel so blessed to be surrounded with such great people!!
