Belonging

Nobody knew exactly when or where it began, but the rumours of the bloody massacres had possessed the shaken town for centuries. Her ghost purportedly drifted through the forest at night, amidst the rustling leaves of redwood trees. It was this reason that all the roads bent away from the Redwood Forest, leaving it untouched for eons. The events associated with her murder were deemed so terrible that the townspeople refused to mention the cult's name; instead they referred to it if they had to - and only if they really had to - as The Period.

Dear paper, please let the question be a good one so that I can make all these bloody puns about periods.

I'm going to continue studying for these wretched exams (read: fall asleep) and try not to fall asleep (read: really fall asleep). Since the internet people are stupid, I will only have my proper internet tomorrow. Thanks a lot, stupid internet people. You're lucky it's before my maths papers; you'd be getting death threats from otherwise. I'm not a ghost but I can haunt you in your sleep. Mark my words.

Let's do another "in my absence" list:
  • Jimmy Eat World
  • Danced and sang in the rain for Papa vs Pretty and The Jezabels at Dee Why Beach because I happened to be in Sydney that weekend for Jimmy
  • Fell deeply in love with PVP, especially after United In Isolation
  • Got used to Mona Bear (I use it to scare others now)
  • Heard "Survive" live.
  • Witnessed Little Red's "Rock It" live. Twice. And I hate that song. (Nothing against them, just that song. Okay I have a little something against them FOR that song but other than that they seem like nice
  • Plugged Canterbury at a YMAS/WTK gig
  • Met Max (YMAS) who approved of my Canters shirt with a high five
  • Failed UMAT
  • Did an over-the-internet collaborative cover of an RA song
  • Finally got Rickrolled this year. Twice.
  • Procrastinated.
  • Graduated from high school.
  • Cried at nearly every episode of Doctor Who in S6.
  • Doctor Who and Torchwood on my birthday.
  • Seen THREE films at the cinema already. This is a record.
  • Legally allowed to drive on my own.
  • Fell asleep whilst studying.
  • Got distracted.
Now, to bed! (ahem)

iTunes shuffle is a bloody genius.
Oct 9, 2010
I'm listening to Kids In Glass Houses on shuffle. It was playing "Good Boys Gone Rad (Live)", and that song connects to the next song in the iTunes Live EP, which is "Easy Tiger (Live)". After GBGR ended, the next song that came on was a studio version of Easy Tiger.

iTunes, you have blown my mind.
