Just a sneak ...

On Wednesday we will release the new challenge results for August at the MSW Blog. This is just a little sneak of my work .....

Green eyes .....

..... looking right into my heart!

Yeah! My layout was published in the latest issue of the Scrap Art Magazine, the one and only magazine here in Germany for the scrappers. 

Thanks so much Andrea and Jana for publishing some of my creations once again!

I was inspired by one of the design team members Thilo who created a layout quite similar and had his certain way of describing the "making of". I was hooked immediately.
I love the funny way he puts it down in words.

I must mention that I had two people ask me when I would finish this .... grmpf .....

Authentique CAREFREE...

I just fell in love with the colour combination of the Authentique CAREFREE collection, right down my alley ;) ... and I love it when it all fits so smoothly together!

I created two cards for the monthly challenges at MSW, there are two more to go yet.

Cookie ... the little clown

Cookie ... she's always good for a laugh!

I used MME paper, different punches and created some circle flowers. 

They're my favorites at the moment as I can always stay in the colour range of my design paper.

SCREAM ......

I adhered a piece of a telephone book page to my card and applied acrylic paint and glossy medium to it. I stamped the images and cut the "screamers" from a magazine and stuck them to clear round stickers. The "scream" is computer generated. Some doodling on the edges ... done ;)

HOUSTON CROP ....

Since most of my friends at My Sketch World are meeting at the Houston Crop until Monday, I have the honor to host six challenges over the weekend.

One challenge is to create something "Texas"!

I used to live in Dallas for quite a while and always remember the saying:

"Everything is big(ger) in Texas"

So I challenged the ladies to create something big, this is my sample tag:

Can't wait to see what they come up with ;)

Well, not really my favorite combination, but since it was July,4th and Lisa had the wish for this colour combo, I "obeyed" ... grin

Distress stains on the background, washed down with water, heat embossed sentiment .... done!

Canvas for Valentine's day ....

I was "talking" about canvases with my friend Vickie yesterday and I realized I hadn't posted the one I made for DH in February. 

It was also published in an Austrian magazine in spring. 

I worked on the inside, hung my stamped images on a "clothesline"  and added little messages in the bottles. He was quite tickled :)

Bright feathers ....

The new challenge is up at Fun with ATC's.

Well, my feathers aren't bright but they fit the mood ..... so here is my card!
