Hello dear friends!!! pssssst...I found out a secret......please don´t tell it to Luna and Olli and the other garden kitties!
I can smell something great in the air!
I´m looking and sniffing where it is....it is in the humans flower bed.
It is near....and nearer.......and finally....
tadaaaaaa.....found. It is the very very new grown cat nip...very fresh cat nip!!!
I have to guard this that no other cat found out my secret.

Cat Art Sunday

Hello dear Cat Art Sunday Reader,
since we lend Findus the neighboring cat on friday for Frootbat Friday we had the idea to lend Findus for Cat Art Sunday again.
Hallo liebe Cat Art Sunday Leser,
seit wir uns den Nachbarkater Findus am Freitag für Frootbat Friday ausgeliehen haben kam uns die Idee ihn auch für Cat Art Sunday auszuleihen.
Findus got his name from a childrens book named Petterson and Findus. Our younger kids love the stories and colorful pictures of the little cat and the old man.
Findus hat seinen Namen aus einem bekannten Kinderbuch bekommen. Die meisten von euch kennen sicher die Geschichten von Petterson und Findus.
Petterson got Findus from the neighbors woman because he should not longer be alone.
Petterson hat Findus von der Nachbarin bekommen, damit er nicht mehr so alleine ist.
The book is written from a swedish writer named Sven Nordquist. He wrote a lot of books of Petterson and Findus.
Das Buch wurde von einem schwedischen Autor namens Sven Nordquist geschrieben.

Frootbat or Eyewatch Friday

Dear friends, we would love to participate in Frootbat Friday ....but...Sorry, it seems we have no frootbat cats. So we lend Findus the neighboring cat...but ...are these Ears Frootbats ???
Than we found out that his eyes are perfect for Eyewatch Friday. If you enlarge the photo you can see that Findus eyes are doublecolored....
We have another visitor in our garden. She was sitting in the sun on roof of the carport...Luzie was sitting on the gardenfence on the otherside and Olli is observing both from the front of the carport roof. Two calico kitties in our garden inspired me to made a collage.

Finally its spring and the weather is warm and sunny. The kids have springbreak and we are busy with visitings and gardening the next day.
Hope you´ll enjoy Ollis short video. Maybe you can hear his little meow when he ask me for let him out.

Cat Art Sunday

Dear Cat and Art friends, sorry we have been busy and have not posted for longer.
Yesterday was springbeginning and I´ll post today some pictures of spring flowers in our garden!
Here are the small pansies like the first photo and here in white again....
.... a few Leucojum are flowering between Galanthus....
...and finally crocus in violet
...and finally a little cat art. Do you know the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland ? In German we call her with the funny name "Grinsekatze"
Our cats enjoy the warm springy weather outside. Unfortunately we got a lot of rain the last days...but everything is better than all the snow the last weeks

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends,
we have something new. The human found in a pet shop this Catnip Spray and bought it for us.
We got in a Christmas package these Catnip cushions from our friend Nelly . Nellys grandma sewed it for us. We had a lot of fun for a long time until the catnip smell was off.
The human freshed it now up with the new spray.
Look what happens to Luna....
...it seems she is in heaven....
....a heaven full with catnip....
Now we can patiently wait until the fresh catnip plant grows new in our garden.

We wish our friends a wonderful day and always fresh catnip smell in your house!

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends, Olli invited Findus to have a nap too on the bench. Both slept for longer. After a while olli thought that Findus needs a bath.
He started his work...
Findus enjoyed his bath very much....
....Olli had a lot of work until Findus is clean enough...
Luzie observed the boys on the bench...
...and decided that she can wash herself too...
She had to do her washing alone....

Luzie would never let someone other clean her fur.

Cat Art Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Cat Art Sunday !
I don´t know since how many weeks I show snowy photos on our blog and I don´t want to do it anymore until spring beginning.
Hallo liebe Cat Art Sundayfreunde! ich weiß nicht, seit wievielen Wochen ich hier Schneebilder zeige, aber ich wollte es eigentlich in diesem Winter nicht wieder tun.
In our last post I showed a photo of the first springflowers in our garden. They have the sweet name snowdrops / Schneeglöckchen in German....Why ??? Now you can see the answer. We got a lot of snow again In meinem letzten Post habe ich die ersten Frühlingsblumen gezeigt. Schneeglöckchen. Der Name scheint Programm zu sein......Wir haben wieder gaaaanz viel Schnee bekommen und nun sind alle Blumen zugedeckt, ach die Stiefmütterchen und Bellies die ich Mittwoch gepflanzt habe.
Now it´s cat art sunday and I want to show some cat art too. I´m a big friend of Beatrix Potters paintings. The most of you know the tales of Peter Rabbit but Beatrix Potter has painted all kinds of animals.
Nun aber zur Cat Art. Ich bin ein großer Fan von Beatrix Potter. Die meisten von euch kennen wohl die Peter Hase Geschichten. Beatrix Potter hat aber auch ganz viele andere Tiere gezeichnet....
....and Cats too. Isn´t the little tabby cute ?....so auch Katzen. Ist der kleine Tiger nicht süß ?

Cats on Tuesday

Dear furry and human friends,
though our garden is a huge mess after the big storm Xynthia on sunday we have a little spring on the kitchen windowsill inside with springflowers.
The cats love to sit on the windowsill outside in the sunshine and to leave a lot of dirt on the windows. Maybe they think I have not enough to do...
Since the snow melted I have to do a lot of clean ups with the old plants and the forgotten christmas decoration which was under the snow too. Here you can see the two tabbies outside on the windowsill...
And this is another beautiful surprise under the snow....
....the first springflowers !!!
The tabby straycat is waiting in the sunshine. Unfortunately we forgot to cut the long grass in fall and now the storm made a big mess with all the long leaves.
There is waiting a lot of garden work . We hope it will be warm and sunny soon!!!
