an update
Surprise! Finally an update!
Lappie officially gone..
The ppl from the service centre have asked me to pay $$
in order to recover my comp.
All i can say is: bye bye VAIO.
Seriously, I rather live w/o a laptop than having to pay for sth
which resulted in me having to visit the service centre for 5 times in a year.
But I can't finish up my post on U.S :(

Spence's bday! HAHA. okay, i know it's taken on 12th August!
We played L4D thereafter..
great fun, i like!
Most importantly, spence is a year older!hahhaa.
And wiser, of coz!
BC bash with Shu & Joc, which I didn't think was really worthwhile.
We spent an hr queuing up & the event has already started
for awhile.
Besides, 50% of our view was being covered.
But the models were preeeeetty!
After that, met up with tong to 'pak tor' (:
ard esplanade during the YOG season!
Love the lasers! thumbs up for the effort towards the YOG committee
though I feel that the venue for the events weren't as grand as compared.

US Trip : Universal Studios & Hollywood
It was awesome with all the rides which
wasn't too traumatising for my heart.phew!
Before entering Universal's, there were booths for promoting
'Despicable Me' ! Love those dwarf like characters!Super CUTE!
They also had the truck which Kristen Stewart drove in Eclipse.
We saw mascots such as Spongebob, Dora, Shrek,The Simpsons
and Marilyn Monroe!
Pretty Princess Fiona spotted!
Never a fan of the Simpsons but they look pretty adorable there!
Always wonders if the people inside the mascots are expressionless or what?
Went into the House of Horror as well.
Somehow or another, the actors will always scare the
ones (i.e :Shikky & Kelvin) in front of us!
I m really glad to trail behind!

The Seaworld performance!
Initially ,I thought we were going to see
some dolphins and sea lions going through large rims
but ended up being amazed by the performance!
There was an aircraft that came crashing into the 'sea'
from nowhere.
Burst of flames which depict the explosion were pretty smelly
but were put out in seconds with their automated devices.
Enjoyed the Universal Studio Tour where
they reveal how certain scenes were portrayed in the movies.
Scene 1:Dry land
Scene 2:It started raining
Before you know it...
FLASHFLOOD!
The water gushed out so suddenly and it seemed
so real especially so when the waters were nearing us!
But turned out that the large volume of water will be recycled
via another channel.

as seen from 'Desperate Housewives'.
Now you know how JAWS were created?
Didn't manage to capture a photo of the fake shark
coz' I had to protect my camera from the splashes!
There was a 4D King Kong show which was superb!
But the whole tram
was shaking too violently and water was spouting at us non-stop
that I didn't had the chance to take photos.

And the night scenery outside Universal Studio!
Love the neon lightings!
Later on,we had Chinese food!
After so long!
If you wanna know if the food was good..
all I can say is that,
we can't taste the difference between the Sweet & Sour PORK
with the Orange Flavoured Chicken.hahah!
It wasn't too bad..
but the brown rice tasted horrible.

And moving on to Hollywood the next day!

US GradTrip
Have been feasting on
fastfood and vietnamese PHO (pronounced as 'fur')
over at US!
Really enjoyed myself with tong! (:
and of coz,the two wonderful friends: shikky & kelvin!
Got to drive for about 60plus miles on the road
at 70mph which accounts to about 112 kph!Got to drive for about 60plus miles on the road
Great experience driving there despite the hand cramps
accumulated due to the intense grabbing on the
steering wheel.
my heart skipped a beat whenever the humongous gasoline vehicle
drove past!
But big thanks to the 2 guys who drove during the road trip
while we girls were pigging out,snacking & sleeping at the back!hahaha
Realised I'm such a pig so much so that I wasn't affected
by the jet lag and concussed straight at night in accordance with the
U.S timing!Guess I was shagged out with the itinerary!

and its touch screen in-flight entertainment system
was pretty good too!

Apparently, the toilet includes a function that
allows u to wash your butt !
Didn't dare to try though..too high tech for me!
Upon arrival, kelvin's brother was there to show us around!
We took the DOLLAR RENT-A-CAR bus to the car rental area
which was quite a distance away from the airport.
it was almost 18 freaking long hours on board!
but all was worthwhile! (:
Us & our red car which brought us through our trip safely!
Went camarillo premium outlets
for lunch and shopping!
LHS (top): USD$1 sweet tea! nice!
We had macs for dinner in
as the other shops were closed after we were done shopping.
Feel that sg's fries taste better though!
Next morning, we headed to disneyland @ Anaheim!
Most of the rides were lined with long queues
Similar to HK disneyland in terms of its layout and attractions
but Anaheim's was much bigger.

At the 'small small world' attraction
Wanted to take a picture with the car but the kids kept cutting my queue.
As much as I wanted to rush in and get my butt on the car seats,
I relented due to my age..too embarrassed to fight with the kids over the
photo-taking.hahah
tong suggested I pose with the fish tank beside the car first
while waiting for the kids to clear!
Ahh..finally!the car!!
