Never Look Back

He broke your heart. She just left the two of you alone. They died. He was my only friend. I was hospitalized. They all have something in common. A tragic event that they can never forget. A sad experience they dwell on. Stop it. It may have been recently or many years ago, but either way it's in the past. Don't look back. It's behind you. Look forward, move forward and smile. You don't have to forget your friend or your parents or that boy or girl you thought you loved. As a matter of fact, remember them. Remember all the fun things you did together. Remember all the times you were happy and smiling. Those will be the things that move you forward. Don't remember the day it happened. It's not important. Never look back. Move on.
