haha i guess its time for an update again (:

packed and ready to be given out!

its sort of a tradition for our family to bake pineapple tarts during chinese new year, but i'm not complaining, cos i get first dibs on all the tarts! =D

and i sort of splurged on two more slices of cheesecakes from secret recipe, can't help it cos i adore cheesecakes ;)

americano cheesecake! the chocolate on top was heavenly but then i would have prefered a more cheesy lower layer ):

caramel cheesecake! the almonds on the bottom were a nice touch, but it was slightly sweeter than what i would have liked :S

lol, seems like i'm always blogging about food now :P

this semester has been kind of hectic, got labs to do and its soooooo hard ><

i didn't bake my brownies this vday as i hoped to, but hopefully i should have a chance to during the holidays or so, i'll definitely make one for my godsis's bday that's for sure (:

glad that she's having a break now so we can meet up more often, but then i'm busy with schoolwork, so i can't meet her as often as i would like to though ):

been listening to big bang's songs lately, they're really nice, i wonder why i didn't listen to them sooner :X

school starts in about a week and i'm still not ready to go back to school.

these holidays have been just great!

going out with friends for shopping therapy and chats, going for weekly jogs, parties, and most importantly, being able to sleep til as late as i want!

and being able to do some baking as well (:

i realise i kind of have an interest in baking pastries =D

baked some peanut butter cookies, though they weren't that good as expected though, probably have to add more peanut butter cos i cut down on the amount required ):

however, the brownies that i baked a few months back was nice, just that i didn't take pictures of them, will take next time when i bake the next batch, most probably near valentine's day (:

and my aunt bought back some macarons from paris when she went there for her holidays, they tasted delicious!


it's a pity how holidays are coming to an end soon, the next semester will be starting in about 2 weeks, must really jiayou for this semester!

next up, its baking scones for next monday, hope it will be a success!

i still have loads of things i want to try making though, like lemon curd, banana bread and nutella muffins!

and chinese new year is coming soon, in about a month's time? dad will be making his usual pineapple tarts, yummy (:

just a short post before the finals.

went to catch the new james bond movie with wan, maybe it had a weak plot, but then the action was pretty good, kind of enjoyed watching it.

and i finally got a chance to take pictures of junsu's dog!

cute eh?

i realised i have a weakness for furry and fox-like dogs (:

and i miss going out with sis, shall pester her to go out with me more this holidays :P

til then, its back to the stacks and piles of notes on my desk :x

i really have to start working harder for this semester.

mid-terms have just passed, wasn't really a good experience.

guess it just shows how slack my attitude has been towards studying this semester.

oh well.distractions are around.but i shan't make excuses for myself.

MUST STUDY!

been rather fascinated with the japanese language recently, would love to go to japan for a holiday though *sighs*

korea wouldn't be too bad a choice either ;)

and it sometimes puzzles me when guys who are of similar age, can be so totally different in terms of maturity. guess the environment plays a significant part.

been going out with sis lately.i always enjoy our chatting sessions, teasing each other about certain someones, just feel like confiding in her everything.

its just nice to have a friend like that, despite us not really seeing each other that often as we have different schedules and all ):

samoyed dogs are really cute! if junsu didn't have one, i wouldn't have known that it is so cute, like a great big bundle of white fur ^^

this semester is turning out to be quite enjoyable.

been able to talk more to people, and stay over at wan's place for gossip, gossip and more gossip!

it was kind of fun trying to find our eating place yesterday, and we had a nice talk about certain people.

being in school late at night has a certain appeal, pgp has a nice environment for taking strolls late at night.

the three of us actually planned to stay up the whole night to talk, but then wan kind of fell asleep at around 12, so in the end we slept for about 5 hrs or so before we went for breakfast the next day.

warm showers at night on cold days can be really comforting.its almost like eating chocolates :P

tomorrow is the start of a new semester.

AGAIN.

but then at least i don't feel so apprehensive about going back to school already.

watched the parade fireworks from my house yesterday (:

it makes me feel that once that special moment is over, its over.

there's nothing you can do to bring it back.
