I'm not the best blogger

Alright... so the title says it all. I'm really not the best blogger.
I've been learning a lot of stuff. I also tried out a job... but it wasn't for me. So I'm on the lookout again for another one.
I also learned that I'm good at more things than I thought, annnd... I love who I am with David :)

I can't really explain everything that's happened so far since I've last posted because that's just too much!

But I do have pictures of food I've made and other cool things we've done. I will share them with you :)
My trainer from my mission came to visit us sometime in the Winter because of things she had to do in Provo. We also went shopping for bridal dresses. (She got married last weekend!!! :)

We went to Yogurtland on a date and got one free :)
Friends from my mission came over. We played games, ate, and just had fun together.
This is a group of some missionaries that David taught several months ago. They all went to spanish speaking missions. :) David LOVES working at the MTC. So many miracles happen each day.
This is Valentine's day for us. We went to a mall to watch a movie. David ate Subway and I ate a chinese bowl. He was taking me to watch "The Vow", but I asked my little sister how it was and she didn't give it a good rating... so we chose to see another movie. That movie wasn't so appealing to us so we walked out and got out money back :) (David is SO handsome. I love this photo of him with his subway).
We love taking sunday strolls to the Provo Temple. It's about...a 10 minute stroll. David brought the guitar and played for me at the Temple. :)
We're sooo cute huh?! I know. :)
If you look at the picture on the right... with the footsteps that makes a heart... well, David and I bumped into eachothers' heads! An older man was walking by and chuckled when he saw us bump into eachother. :) We were laughing a lot.

I was chatting about a lot of stuff with my sister-in-laws and we decided to take a picture. I love my Fossett family! :)
This is the wedding of one of my favorite companions from my mission and best friend; Jessica. She looked like a princess! Her dress was handmade by a wonderful seamstress. The same seamstress made my trainer's wedding dress that you'll see at the bottom somewhere.

This is BFF Becca (Fluckiger:pronounced "Floo-kee-grr"). We both went to the wedding :)

David and I went to a homecoming talk for a friend from CA. Travis Parsons! We got to see quite a few people from the Lakewood 3rd ward. Woot Woot! :)

So... I cook a lot of homemade, delicious food! This is just one of them. Cordon Bleu. It was DELICIOUS! Yesterday we ate ham and cabbage roast, and earlier this week we ate homemade, TGIF style broccoli soup. MmMmmmm. We love eating in!
For those of you who know David well... he loves working out. This is just one of those days that I caught him warming up.
It looks like we went camping, but we didn't. (We want to though!!! Anyone up for it??) There's this huge pine tree at our apartment complex and we just went inside. We wanted to eat the Chocolate cake we bought from Costco. Since it was cold... we ate it inside our laundry mat :)
This is another Video of David. He's playing dodgeball with other MTC teachers.

We ate at Red Lobster, and this is what we ordered.
The pink drink was SOO good. (Non-alcoholic of course). It had different fruit in it...so delicious!
There's a small recording room on BYU campus that we go to sometimes to record songs. We love music.

Wyoming little Fossett's, Provo Fossett's, and the McMurray's all went to a Nickel arcade in Provo. The little Fossett's came over and spent the night with us and the McMurray's for the weekend. It was so much fun! :) (This happened several weeks ago). (Baby Damien is SO cute!)

Hello Easter! We loved spending our first Easter together. We decided we wanted to take our first Easter family photo. :)
My little brother; Brian, visited us last weekend!! We took him to the recording room and recorded songs together. He sings pretty well. He might be softspoken... but he can sing!
This is my trainer again! Her name is Tiffany (I call her Stussi). She got married last weekend! It was so much fun to see her and other sister missionaries from T2. (Temple Square).
These photos are from the luncheon Tiffany had after her wedding ceremony. (Brian was here for all of this too. He came and had a lot of fun with David and me although he didn't know anyone at the luncheon).
This is a video and photo and us dropping Brian off for Greyhound. He rode the bus all the way back to Long Beach, CA! He's a trooper. It was sooo much fun having him for a few days. I love my Mondaca family soooo much!

So remember Fluckiger? (Becca). She graduated from BYU this week!!!! This is a video of her walking to get her diploma. She's the one with the green shoes. I would have caught her on video with her name being said... but the announcer pronounced her name wrong. Here she is nonetheless!
WELL, after all those photos over the past several months... you've seen my life. I've been sewing more lately too. I haven't taken pictures of my new sewing machine (that my in-laws bought for me!) but I will. I love it! I've decided to major in Family Studies and minor in English. Hopefully I'll be getting done soon! I need to graduate already! :)
And baby news?... we don't have any so far. Time will tell! :)
I LOVE my, Mr. Fossett. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Life is wonderful.

Officially Mrs. Fossett!

Today I legally changed my name! I am now the new Mrs. Fossett; according to the United States of America.

I've been pretty busy lately. I love it!
Two days ago, I babysat a young girl named; Cosette. Pretty name. Pronounced: Coe - zette.
It reminded me of when I was a Nanny for my older sister when I got home from my mission. I babysat my two nieces and loved it!
I forgot how busy it was to go to school and take care of children

Although we don't have any kids, and are not stopping it from happening, I am grateful that right now, today, it's just David and me.

If you read my last post, it says how I was frustrated because I didn't feel so busy... well.
I TAKE THAT BACK
I actually make myself busy. I have a lot of things to do around our home, a lot of homework to do for school, and job hunting to help Mr. Fossett and our little family.
When we have our little Fossett's, I know I will love that time. I am excited to enjoy that time when it comes.
I'm also enjoying the time that we have right now.

As Pres. Monson said, "Find Joy in the Journey Now" :)

Speaking of quoting a prophet... I was reading the Relief Society Manual; "Daughters in My Kindgom" yesterday and studied more about this month's Message. "Guardians of the Hearth". I LOVED what I learned! I didn't get to finish the chapter and I am excited to read more.
There was a question answered that I actually have asked myself before.

The question was, "Why did Pres. Hinckley read the Family Proclamation to the Relief Society first?"
Pres. Hinckley answered, "You are the guardians of the hearth... You are the bearers of the children. You are they who nurture them and establish within them the habits of their lives. No other work reaches so close to divinity as does the nurturing of the sons and daughters of God."

When I read that... BOOM, it just made sense to me!
OF COURSE he'd read it to the Sisters first, it is in our nature, our spiritual make-up to nurture, strengthen, and protect our families from anything that could destroy it.

The Family Proclamation is truly a proclamation to the WHOLE world concerning families given by a Prophet of God. It's a recipe to a happy and successful family. It's doesn't mean that we won't face trials or hardships... but it does mean that we will know how to find joy and happiness through it all.

I am a happy woman. A happy wife. A happy future mother. A happy daughter.
I am Mrs. Fossett :)

Mrs. Fossett

Living in Provo is good. I actually haven't paid much attention to the snow and cold. Being married has been my medicine against the weather :)

Confession: I have been frustrated with myself at times because I felt unproductive. I don't have a job, and I'm taking online classes. So, I'm home most of the time.
I'm used to being out and about to go to school and work... job hunting isn't so easy in Provo when I'm looking not to work on Sundays. I've applied to work at many places, and I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
School is going good. I just started the Spring Semester online with Golden West College from Huntington Beach, CA. I love that school. They provide a lot of online classes and good financial aid immediately.

I've also been doing what I can to help in our ward and community. I'm proud of Mr. Fossett and myself for being actively engaged in doing service for others in our ward and community. It really does bring us closer to Christ. We feel that if we support our leaders and serve, then the Lord will be able to trust us even more for future opportunities to "Feed His Sheep".
Mr. Fossett really is an inspiration to me.

I received a letter today from Sis. Rebecca Fisher who is serving in Scotland! She comes home on May 3rd. I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. I remember when I saw her at the end of my mission! That was over a year ago. I can't wait to see her and catch up on the last 3 years. :)

Well, that's all that I have for now.

Okay... It's been almost 3 months...

Since David and I got married... I haven't posted any pictures!!! Shame on me.
(Take note: All these photos were done by my wonderful sister-in-law; Chiemi Larsen!)

(I love how my niece in the front is just smiling so cute at the camera. I love her :)
(I wore my mom's wedding dress (she's so amazing) and Chiemi altered it to fit me better, once again... WONDERFUL sister-in-law)

...and we still live Happily Ever After...
