our one year anniversary.

my colleague was on long holiday leave today and hence i couldnt take the leave to be out enjoying the day with my dear dear. anyway, i had to also work late as i also had to cover his jobscope. =(

however, i received a plesant surprise from my dear dear. he bought me flowers and had it delivered to my office by the florist shop. perhaps some of you may think why didnt he just buy me the flowers on the way to the office. but the truth is he not working. =(

anyway, it really came to a pleasant surprise for me and most of my colleagues are envious of me wondering why i have flowers, one of them even came up to me thinking that it was my birthday. lol.


the dozen of roses - each symbolising a month we have been through. haha. 2 years will mean that i will have 24 roses. :P

anyway, the day went by pretty quickly, perhaps because there wasnt much of any issue and the flowers really brighten up my day.

after that i took a bus to suntec with the flowers to meet eugene who was there with his brother to watch a movie proudly sponsored by HSBC, one of our work-life balance program (as if. not really true for all the department and sections. if eugene werent on leave that day, i doubt he will be able to watch that movie. both of us will be slogging our life away in the office. so sad.)

i reached there just in time for his movie to end and we headed to NYDC for my long awaited dinner. =) and i got him a card. :P

after that he sent me back home, taking bus 518 back to my place before he headed back home.
