on medical leave today.

perhaps most of my colleagues must be thinking that i am faking mc. haha.

but i was admitted into A&E yesterday due to constant sharp pain at my right abdomen. and as usual A&E procedures, it took quite a long while before i met the doctor. had blood tests, x-rays and enema jab.

at first we all thought it was appendicitis since the symptoms seemed to say so but lucky me it was not according to the blood tests. so no operation required and i wont have to be an inpatient. and now i will have to wait for further referral to find out what's causing the intense pain which could be due to my digestive system or my reproductive system, according to the doctors.

just had painkillers and it feels much more better now.

sorry that i scared the hell out of everybody, especially eugene who came over to my place to visit me.

hopefully will find out the cause of it soon and stop everybody from worrying.

p/s: it is our 8 months together. =) and he came over to visit me after work. luckily it was new york holiday today, hence he can knock off earlier. but guess it may be hell for us tomorrow. :(

on leave today and it had become a long holiday for me. :)

been working late for the past 1 month. having some severe emotional problems. glad that despite the stress and helplessness in work (since i am covering my mentor's work as well), eugene is always there for me. now it is time for me to rest. not worth getting health problems over work. this is what eugene always tells me.

met the rest of the SIM friends for steamboat. been quite some time since i last met most of them. people who went are: dominic (he is the organiser), da jie, sharon, cliff, zichao, xiaojia eugene and me.

we went to eat at some steamboat restaurant, la mei zi at bugis. not very nice. :( sad to say. the number of selections are freaking limited. but we chose that place based on it being air-conditionered. but really not worth 15 bucks for the food there, especially since i didn't eat much expensive stuff such as prawns. haha. but the company was great. it had been a long time since i last met some of them.

then we headed to the desserts shop to have more food. i guess most of us are sick of the limited choices for steamboat already. haha. shared a mango dessert with eugene as i dont feel very well.

after which we shared cab home as ms tan xiaojia still got to work the next day. so poor thing. haiz. but i guess that is working life. :(
