Celebratory December

Miranda starts amazing us again

I mean, come on.  This is not parental bias.

Right?!?

And the littlest dude has seen his brother breakdancing a lot

Carlie has her end-of-the-year performance for musical dance theater, and she's so adorable.  She really was meant to be on the stage.

Building a snowman

Giving me presents for my 39th bday... trying to live up my 30's!!

They give me suggestions on things to buy with my Amazon GC's to buy whatever I want.  Genius.

Halle & Kierste are supposed to make a banner of their Christmas traditions.

The words on the poster are worth a second look, if you can see them.

The boys lead our ward breakfast in The 12 Days of Christmas.

Every table has a number they're assigned

And instead of Santa coming this year, a family displays the Nativity with their new baby, and the Wise Men give the kids some treats.

Connor starts getting used to waiting patiently while Mommy speaks to people.  Being the last child, he will learn this skill better than any other child.

Sledding in the back yard!

While the boys build a snowman

A Sunday comes around again

The Angel Car has to be towed... someone took a 15 year old someone driving when said someone wasn't ready yet, and consequently, the slushy snow won the fight with Blue Sparkle.  After all the names we've called this car, when it was getting towed at this moment, Kierste held her hand up the the window and called, "Bye, Snowflake!"  Never heard that one!

Jeff took the kids up to Tibble Fork for sledding

You can't see her, but Emily came with Miranda

Tyler & Bethany brought these amazing outfits from China, where they taught English.

Deciding which Skylanders we don't have

Every year, we have our extended Madsen family Christmas party at Pat's Gym, aka: Academy West in West Jordan.  The kids love it!!!

I only had a couple kids home for the arch picture!

And annual tradition of Daddy handing down the gifts and Mommy helping everyone arrange them under the tree for easy sorting in the morning.  Christmas Eve is here!!!

Glory to the Newborn King

Santa has come!!

Annual Stair Picture

Ah.  The beautiful mess.

So Miranda & Carlie played this game all the time together: gather a bunch of random things and play the Memory Game.  What's missing???  Super interesting with new presents you've just unwrapped.  Yes, our 15 year old just unwrapped dolls.  Yes, I love it.  Hang onto your childhood as long as possible.

Not sure if you can tell if this boy lives, breathes & eats for Cars.  He LOVES all things Lightning and Mater.  As did Morgan & Derek.

OK, 2012.  You've been real.  See you next year!!!
