I'm a bit afraid you will think like, i made yet another cloud, but i feel this is different from the others plus i love clouds!. To begin with, this came from a series of new sketches, it is less "fluffy" and then i make the pendant hang from the chain differently than my other necklaces. Oh, and it is the first cloud necklace i've ever done, so it is very special! I completely love it, i hope you do, too!

Jamie Bert
A little while ago i made this treasury and included the "what is this thing?" card by Jamie Bert. He wrote me back, it was his first treasury feature and wanted to send me one of his cards to say thanks. I truly wanted to tell him like, 'you are welcome but you don't have to' but there was this part of me that craved his stationery and wanted badly to have some for free so i gave him my address hoping he would just forget about it.
You got to love sellers like him! please visit his Etsy shop to see more of his stationery collection and giggle a little with his funny descriptions! Having some of his work here i vastly recommend it: it's so neat, cool, of an awesome quality and so original!
Thanks Jamie!
But of course he did not forget and here i am, with freshly arrived mail from Jamie with two gorgeous cards of his collection, i feel extremely grateful for his thoughtfulness and his generosity that the least i can do is to introduce you to his incredible neat, smart, funny, cool and good looking work:
Thanks Jamie!

A new favourite: Nisse Made
I came across this wonderful illustrator on Flickr, her name is Nisse Made and now i can't have enough of her art!
Her drawings are so beautiful, full of feelings, they have the right amount of cuteness and a touch of mystery, i like them so much! here are some of her illustrations for your heart to enjoy:

Visit Nisse Made website and her photostream on Flickr to see more, you'll most probably thank me for the introduction ;)

Casita del arbol
Do you remember this toy? well, i don't know if it were sold where you live but this was a hit in Mexico among children in the 80's!
This brings so many cool memories from my childhood: My cousin Adriana owned one when we were kids. I used to sleep over a lot at her place so we would play with this tree house all freaking day :) it was so much fun. The elevator, the swing, the dog house! wow i want to play with it again!

Alphabet
I collected all this links of beautiful alphabet posters because i wanted to buy one for my girl, well, i still do want to buy one but i'm not in a hurry anymore. We got one when we moved here, a huge poster from Ikea (i know, i know! we saw it, little one saw it, she started spelling letters and we knew we should get it that moment) and, although is not nearly as pretty, she loves to stand in front of it and say the letters out loud. I think she likes the fact that they are huge letters and she can easily sees them (she knows most of the alphabet now, the only ones she get confused with are A, N, and T)
But as i told you, is still my plan to get a nice, special one for her room. I'll share with you some of my faves!

The Gift
Have you seen all those wonderful pictures of beautiful packaging and gift wrapping and all that stuff lately? I've been hunting those images and drooling over them. I just found this new wave of packing hand made goods and gifts so adorable (visit my board "Empacando" on Pinterest to see what i'm talking about). This is my first attempt to beautifully pack something and i think it looks pretty good!
Can you guess what's inside? well, this lovely package is on its way to Ireland to Millie, the winner of my giveaway! So my lovely summer bunting is inside :D
I wish you a nice day!

Happy Rain
I believe that rain boots and umbrellas are some of the cutest things among wearable stuff. I remember when i got my first rain boots, i was praying for rain so i could get to wear them!
Well, rain can be a pain too, specially if you live in places like Tabasco (where i grew up) where flooding is a major problem each year and the territory is flooding awfully as we speak. My parents, and two of my brothers (with their families) still live there so i'm a bit concerned, even when i know they're fine.

But well, this is the world we live in and the way nature works, so i guess the important thing is to be prepared for what we know can affect our lives and to help the people in need.
Ok, this was supposed to be a happy post about rain!
It's been raining all day here in Montreal and i just wanted to post some lovely pictures i found on Flickr about the happy stuff we get to use on a rainy day, enjoy!
