Pics of Hannah's Play!

Hannah had a quite a few more parts in the play than the video below. I was only able to get that much of it. She also lead the whole audience in the pledge of alegance. Here are a few more pics of her. She is dressed in an immigrant/pioneer costume.

Hannah's 3rd grade play!

This was too much fun! Yesterday Hannah had a school play about people around the world. I was amazed at what a little confident actress I have. I had no idea. She was funny and knew all her lines. I would have dead at her age, if I had known I would have to get up in front of an audience and say even one word. We are so proud of her. Check it out!

Spring is in full bloom!

So I haven't updated in a while, so I thought I might tell you what's going on and add some pics. We have been crazy busy since Easter and Spring Break, with no time for blogging.

My sister-in-laws, mother-in-law and I have decided to do a biggest loser competition together and then we'll be going on a little trip afterwards to reward ourselves. So I have been trying to concentrate on my exercise and eating good. It's amazing how much time I use exercising or just thinking about it or researching best ways to go about it. Hopefully over time, it won't take up so much of my time and it will become just second nature to me. So wish me luck! I have 15 pounds I want to lose (but have lost 3 so far)and so do each of my sister-in-laws. It's not as much a competition to see who wins as much as it's, us going up against ourselves. Although at times I will admit I feel competitive about it, especially when I have one sister-in-law that is kicking everyone elses butt. (Yes Kim, that's you!) Watch out here I come! No really, they are all doing great. It's really fun to have someone to do this with. We check almost everyday through e0mail. That way it makes us accountable everyday. Maybe I'll even post my before and after pictures, that is if it all goes down the way I plan.

Hannah had her 9th Birthday, on April 26th. It was a small one this year, since last years was out of control, with lots of friends. We had two. One for cousins and one for grandparents. That way she could soak up all of the attention from her grandparents.

During spring break we went to the Natural History Museum. The kids had a blast. Especially at the butterfly exhibit. We got to go in a tent that was full of different kinds of butterflies. It was beautiful. Aaron was too sure about them though. One landed on Lee and Aaron just about wet his pants. Well he did wet his pants, because that's what he does anyway. But I think you get what I mean.

He liked the ones behind the glass though.

The girls love it!

Easter morning! I had a hard time keeping Aarom from the choco (as we call it). He loves it!

Family and us at the Reagan Library for their annual Easter event! It's tons of fun for the kids and the two best things about it are that it's not on Sunday and it's all free. You come home with tons of jelly bellys too.

The brothers and their dad after Confrence Preisthood Session. It's neat that they can all get together at twice a year to do this.

It's Christy my sister-in-law. She got to come out an visit us with her two little girls for a month. She is also expecting her 3rd baby, so we threw her a shower. We love you Christy! Thanks for coming to visit, we loved having you.

We also threw her oldest Alexa a birthday party, since we never get to see her on her birthday. We love you too Alexa.

And that's all for now! It has been really busy, as you can see. I don't think I even mentioned all of it. Have a great week everyone. I hope to update again soon!

Lee's Big Run!

I am so proud and inspired by Lee's hard work at getting in shape this last year. He never ceases to amaze me. Last Saturday he joined 6,000 others in The Great Race of Agoura. He ran the 10k. That's about 6.21 miles. He did it in 49.10 minutes. That's so cool. The run was also up and down some pretty steep hills. Way to go Lee! His buddy John Barrus joined him. They both did great.
These aren't really in order, but this is Lee at the finish line! Go Lee!

The Banner for the great race! It was so fun. After the race everyone got to eat samples of bagels, fruit, juices, chips and lots of others things. Who doesn't like free samples. The kids got to bounce and play games. We had a great time.

This is Emma tucked into the basket of our stroller to stay warm. We got to the race at about 6:30 in the morning and it was stil cold out.

This is Lee passing us in his first mile. He is still enthusiastic. Just wait a few more miles.

Still awaiting. Aaron getting mad and wanting out of his stroller. Emma still tucked in the back where you can't see her. Hannah still as happy as can be. Rachel had freezing toes because she wore flip-flops.

Lee and John just before the run!

I think maybe next year I may try the 5k. We'll see!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My kids are always looking for something new and different to do. So on St. Patricks day they got all elaborate on me and went and built these fancy leprechaun traps. We do this every year. But, this year they decided to make these trap door contraptions and all kinds of details to them. They added ladders, stone climbing things, alarms, flags. It's so funny. They didn't get their leprechaun, but they did get a sweet green treat.

I got the link to my new kids Pix!

Okay, so a friend of mine, Anna Costa did some really cute pictures of my kids a few weeks ago. I just got the link to the pictures. They are really cute and really bring out the kids personalities. Have fun watching them. Here is the link:

I can't wait to get copies to put up. Then I can make this place more of a home.

Cute Kids!

The other day I took the kids to the park for a photo session with a friend. This is one I took. Not bad! I'll be getting the pics my friend did very soon. I can't wait to see how they look. I normally really hate taking the kids to get their pictures taken. Just because it's so hard to make sure they are all in a good mood, clean, getting along, and so on. This time is was so relaxing. Maybe it's because the gal taking the pics, for the most part, just let the kids play and she took the photos while they played. I hope they turned out good. I'll post a few of them as soon as I get them.
