I don't care what anyone says, sometimes apartment living is wonderful! Seriously! I know if we had a house right now, we wouldn't have the luxuries of a hot tub, pool, and gym! So hey, since we're here, we might as well enjoy it! On these 107 degree days we've been having, we've definately been loving the pool.
Sadee had to try on Maci's life jacket! I told her it was too big, but she just had too wear it and then she realized I was right! Ay ay ay...

Isaiah and daddy doing tricks in the pool. Isaiah has really come along way since the beginning of the summer. He used to be soooo scared of everything, but now he loves doing crazy things, especially with his daddy!
Maci is sooooo funny! She is always pulling a silly face and trying to make people laugh. But for some strange reason, she loves being in the hot tub. Maybe because it reminds her of a big bathtub. August 29th 2007

The kids went to their first friend birthday party here in Roseville. Isaiah's friend from church, McKenna turned 5. As you can see.... the kids are having a blast eating their purple frosted cupcakes. August 25th 2007
The party was at an awesome park that's in Rocklin. Here's Isaiah enjoying one of the water features.
And here is the park. Isaiah and Sadee are playing with the nearest water gun and Maci is playing with the distant one. Nice tan line Isaiah! hahahah

Can you believe that Isaiah is in Kindergarten now? Holy cow... I still can't believe we have a child that old! So here's Isaiah on the first day of school. He was soooo excited! His teachers name is Mrs. Irvine and the school is only a mile away too! Yahoo!! I always love the first week of school. There's just this feeling in the air full of excitement to start a brand new year. August 21, 2007

So this might seem like a strange picture, but it is an exciting picture for us! We are actually all sitting down at the dinner table together as a family! Ya, we weren't able to do that in our place in Oroville because of the space. But what a huge blessing it is to be able to have a sit down dinner with the family and talk and hang out. Those are soem of my fondest memories growing up.... dinner time with the fam!

We went to the Folsom Zoo. It's a pretty cool zoo. The zoo is all rescued animals from the Northern California area. The kids had a blast and so did Jason and myself. One of our favorites was seeing the 5 bears that they had. I loved seeing the snakes but the kids wouldn't get near them. August 2007

Isaiah

This is the funniest thing ever.... well to me. Some things definately don't ever change! Here is a picture of Isaiah about 4 1/2 years ago sleeping on the couch.....

And here's a picture of him NOW sleeping in his favorite chair....

Man.... how the heck does he sleep upside down like that? All I know is that he loves to do it!

And I promised Isaiah that I would put this picture up for his grandma's and grandpa's to see. He taped these two things up on his wall and thinks it's the coolest thing ever. The "poster" to the left is an add that we got in the mail, but he loved the computer on it and the karate kicks. And the "poster" to the right is part of the packaging to a ball that he got from his grandma. I asked him why he wanted that one on the wall and he said that he likes it cause it's a happy smiley face and when he wakes up in the morning, it'll make remember to be happy. Ahhhh..... how cute is that! Man, he is sure growing up!

Isaiah took themajority of these pictures I put up on here. But I just wanted to share some pics from our evening.... hope you enjoy! August 11th 2007

I chopped it!

So after a year and 5 months, I finally decided that I better get a haircut. I was too scared to go to anyone here in Roseville so I drove up to Oroville and went to Jason's friend Ryan. I usually go to a friend of mine Kristin, but it takes awhile to get into her. Ryan asked me several times what I wanted to do with it and I just had no clue. I usually just tell Kristin to do whatever cause I trust her. So I told Ryan to chop it right below the shoulders. And so he did. Since my hair was to my middle-lower back, there was a ton of hair on the ground. Isaiah said it looked like a big animal. So, I'll probably go another year before I cut it again. Cause that's what I usually do. I don't blow dry, curl, or put anything in my hair, so it stays healthy for a very long time. Yahoo for low maitenance!! Anyway, I'll be gathering pics of the kids' birthday party we had and will hopefully get them on here soon. Have a splendid day!
