Ski to Sea

So, every Memorial weekend Bellingham hosts it's annual Ski to Sea Race. It is a seven leg racve starting at the ski area at Mt Baker with a downhill skier and ending in the bay with a kayaker. In between you have cross country skiing, running, road biking, canoeing, and mt biking. Anyway it is quite the event. We started the day with a bike ride to church then headed down to the finish line to watch some of the 500 teams come in. Here are some pics from our day...

First you take the mallow...

We have finally had some pretty weather so we could get outdoors! Grandpa had some friends visiting from NC so, we decided to have a marshmallow roast and enjoy the weather and s'mores.
