It's a Girl!!

Baby Macaleer is healthy and female! Willa has spent two months telling everyone mommy had a baby brother in her tummy so, she is adjusting. When we asked her what we should name her sister she said "Macameer" (this is how she says our name) when we said she would definitely be a "Macameer" and asked her what her sisters first name should be she said, "baby brother Macameer" Oh well!

Our trip to New Mexico

We spent a week in New Mexico visiting Leah's dad and retracing our steps in Santa Fe. We had great food, great hikes and great fun! These pictures are in really random order...sorry for any confusion!

Heading down...

After 5 days hangin'with Poppi we headed to Santa Fe for a few days. Our first stop... Lorretto Chapel where we got married. Funny story... as we were paying to enter the chapel (it is no longer a working chapel but a museum) Willa told the lady that mommy and daddy were married here...she proceded to return our money. Apparently if you are married there you don't have to pay...

After a morning spent at the Georgia O'keefe museum (incidentally Willa will tell you her favorite O'keefe painting is the Horse Skull with White Rose. I can't tell you how many times we had to go back to that painting!) Willa did so well we spent the afternoon at the Children's Museum. Here she is painting her face...

We made some really giant bubbles!!

Climbing....

More face painting

Daddy got his face painted, too!

Making music

A walk in the woods....we headed up the mountain to about 12,000ft to check out the Aspens changing... it was beautiful!

Willa heading to the airport with her new backpack!
