This is a little felt candy holder...I think it turned out super cute. I love the felt snowflake (That was glued on) I created the scalloped circle using the big shot and a scallop circle die...tooo fun!

Once the candy is gone, this can easily be made into Christmas decor...simply slide a napkin in the tube and voila! A pretty table! Hmmm maybe I should of made a set of 4 of these!

And now for yor sneak peek! I hope you like this little snippet! Don't forget to come back and guess who you think the little snippet belongs to!

PaperWorks Co. Challenge Focus

Hello there ladies and gents...my project for today is for two different challenges...one is for Splitcoastampers WT challenge...this weeks challenge was to use Green...and Green I used. The nexy challenge was to use a sketch...a very simple sketch from Clean and Simple Challenge 115. I lvoe the sketch! My paper was shimmery...can you see it?

I used a vanilla base for the card followed by glorious green and then a shimmery white background. Simple! Then I added some felt flurries snowflakes and pearls...color and VOILA! Card is done! I just LOVE simple Christmas cards!

The main reason I wanted to make this card though was to show you that you CAN use just a small image from a large stamp and still look FANTASTIC! So many people are Affraid of the BIG stamps, but to me they are FUN and versatile!

Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget, Paperworks Co.'s 3 year anniversary is comming up and there are prizes you don't want to miss!

Check back SOON!!!!

PWCO. Snowglobe

Today's Sunday sketch over at the PWCO. blog is a fun one! I really enjoyed playing around with it...for my card I did the "spotlighting" technique...super fun and quick when you don't have a ton of time to color the whole image! Most of you know how to do this technique, but for those of you that don't here is the lowdown...

You'll start by stamping 2 of the same image on a piece of your choice cardstock. The you will simply punch one out with a punch where desired. The you will color the small circle image and adhere it to the coordinating slightly larger circle...clear as mud right? Just take a look at my card below!

I choose to use circle, but you can use an aray of shapes, squares, rectangles, ovals and even your nestabilities shapes...super cute huh? I love this Magical Christmas image!

Supplies:

Stamp: A Magical Christmas

Ink: stazon black

Paper: Pixie pink, basic black, prism white

Accessories: small felt flurries, rhinestone brads, snowflake charm, circle punches, watercolor pencils, blender pens

So, what do you think? Easy peasy right? I hope you play along with the sketch...and you get bonus points if you use the spotlighting technique!

Hugs and happy Stampin'

I am lovin' this weeks sketch over at Paperworks Co.! Very sweet and simple if you need to get a bunch of cards made...also great to get rid of those tiny paper scraps you have been hoarding for the past who knows how many years! I choose to get rid of a snippet of ribbon I had laying around...I think it turned out cute and aside from the coloring and waiting for the glue to dry the card came together very quick!

So So simple, but still a very nice Christmas card. I choose to use only a bit of the sentiment...I really liked this bit of it...so true!

Supplies:

Stamps: Oh Christmas Tree

Paper: Kraft, glorious green, Prism White

Ink: stazon black

Accessorries: 5/8 inch grosgrain ribbon, dew drops from Creations by AR, glitter, 2-way glue pen, watercolor pencils, blender pens

I know you wand to play along...you just love the sketch too, I can see it in your eyes! ehehe

Thanks soooo much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hugs and happy Stampin'

So I was looking through different sketches to make something yummy for you guys to look at when I stumbled across last Saturdays Inspiration Sketch over at Splitcoaststampers. I was inspired by this awesome little quilt picture…

several things inspired me…the colors and the shapes! Aren’t the colors gorgeous? The round polkadots were screaming at me! So I went to work!

Here is what I came up with!

What do you think? Isn’t the book mark just the cutest? I love making these, they are sooo awesome and sooo easy!

Boxed Set

Hello hello hello!

Before I start on my post I would just like to take a moment of silence to honor and respect all those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It was a tragic day, a day that will always be in our hearts. I pray that all the families that lost loved ones will always know they are never forgotten!

And on a more pleasant note, I would like to wish my Daddy (I know I'm almost 31, but he will always be my Daddy) a very Happy Birthday!

It's been quite some time since I last posted on here, and let me just tell you it feels Ohhhh soooo good to be back! I was feeling a little in a slump, like I wanted to give up paper crafting all together and pursue something else! Sheesh What was I thinking? Paper crafting runs through my veins! It's as much a part of me as I live and breathe! Last night I made a pair of earring's (my new hobby I want to try my hand at) to give to someone who recently watched our dog for us while we were away...then I thought, hey I need to package it nicely... plus I had to created a project to showcase today, so I made this super cute box and matching 3x3 card, pretty helpful to have a batch of new supplies waiting for you when you get some too, that gets a girl in a crafting mood!

So tell me? What do you think of my little box and card? Arent the earings super cute? They are my first ones that I have ever made, but I love them...I love their simplicity and how they can go with pretty much anything! Plus it was my first time using a head pin! All in all I think it was a very successful project and I pray that the person I give it too will appreciate it!

And a little pic of the box and card all ready to be given...altough I still need to sign it!

Thanks for stopping by, and if you like the sketch I used on my card, you can check it out here at the OCC weekly sketch blog!

Supplies:
Stamps: Zac and Zoe Sports Bundle I
Ink: stazon black and stazon white
Paper: velum cardstock, baja breeze, prism white, junebug paper pad by basic Grey
Accessories: blender pens, watercolor pencils, paprer snips, black gingham ribbon, border punch, rectangle punch, 1/16 circle punch, scor-pal

Sand Castles in the Sun!

Hello hello! Tuesday already?! Where did the weekend go?!

For todays card I have a sweet little card...it's a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square...I love these cards, because although they are smaller, they really aren't that much smaller, just a tiny bit...and square cards are soooo much fun!

My card uses one of the new RAM stamps just released this past weekend...it's called Day at the Beach. I just love that little sweety, she is just too cute! Love the pudgy little cheeks and the sweet sand castle, and since the beach is just a short walk from our house I can relate to this adorable image...we are constantly building castles! Hmmm maybe I'll make a scrapbook page with this image soon!

Anywho here is a list of supplies I've used on this card...I hope you like it!

Stamps: A Day at the Beach

Ink: stazon black

Paper: June bug DP by basic Grey, baja breeze, white

Washer robot...

Hello ladies and gents! I have a fun new project for you today...it's my turn to post here on Paperworks Co. and I thought I would wonder off the card scrapbook page for a hot minute...so I made a bracelet instead!

I used a giant washer from the hardware store and added some designer paper to it (This one is called Simple pleasures and it's by Three Bugs in a Rug) Once I sanded around the edge with sand paper I then used a precision file set by Bagis Grey to file the inside...you can also use a circle punch that fits, but i choose this, it's easier for me since I don't have a bunch of punches!

I then stamped the Jam Tinheart robot image from the Tinheart Family collection and used some leather cord and looped it through and tied in a knot, I will get a clasp, but the ones I had at home did not fit so I'll have to get some bigger clasps at the bead shop here in town.

Now if you wanted to get the paper to be more protected I recommend adding crystal effect or a two part epoxi over the image...I will probably br adding some crytal effects but I needed more time for it to dry before adding the leather and wanted to get it photo'd to show you all!

Thanks so much for looking and I hope you like my off the paper project! If you make one of these please leave a comment, I would love to see what you all come up with!

Supplies:

Stamps: Jam Tinheart from the Tinheart Family collection

Ink: Stazon black

Paper: Simple Pleasures by Three Bugs in a Rug

Accessories: Leather cord, clasp, precision file set by Basic Grey

Thanks again for stopping by

A little Birdie...

Hello hello! By now you have probably seen the amazing sketch for this week...if not please scroll down :)

I love this sketch, I like the two pieces going perpendicular to the main image panel! For my two pieces I have used the faux suade technique (when you rub a bone folder along one side of a piece of paper and the fibers start to separate, when you peel the two layers apart it looks like suade!) on the two blue strips...they look really cool in real life!

So I am seriously in LOVE with this image, it's a RAM image and it's called Birthday Parade The little owls are too stinkin cute I tell ya! I love them!

I colored my image with watercolor pencils and I think my coloring is getting better! ;) At least that's what I like to tell myself (still dreaming of copics...someday!) and cut it out using the nestabilities label 9 set...love this set of dies! To complete the card I thought some blong was in order...yes this was a boy card...and yes I did infact give it to a little boy last night for his 6th birthday...but a little bling never hurt anyone!

Supplies:
Stamps: Birthday Parade from the RAM collection for PWCO.

Ink: Stazon black
Paper: So saffron, vanilla, Prism blue and green. DP is jillibean soup, cream of mushroom

Accessories: watercolor pencils, blender pens, rhinestones, bigshot, nesties labels 9,

dimentionals, bone folder (for faux suade technique)

Thank you sooo much for stopping by!

Hugs and happy Stampin'
