Molly is 6 Months Old!

So today I took Molly to see the doctor. I can't believe she is already 6 months old. This was the first doctors appointment that I have had to take Molly to alone. I was pretty nervous about the shots but she is a little trooper. She was laughing and smiling at the nurses and the doctor up until she got the shots then she screamed but only for about 30 seconds then she just snuggled with me. She is 25 inches long and weighs 15 lbs 14 oz, and she is in the 50th percentile for weight and 40th for length. She has no shot at being tall, however I thought she was longer than that. She is so much fun and I couldn't have asked for a better baby. Before we went to the doctor I went and visited my friend Kelli who I went to beauty school with and got a haircut. (It is way short but I love it) After the doctor we headed home so Molly could have a nap, it turned into a 5 1/2 hour nap. She was worn out from the shots. Then after Leslie, Karissa, and Kailyn dropped the boys off they came to Payson. I gave Leslie a haircut and then we picked up Kason and met Aaron at AppleBees to celebrate Leslie's Birthday. It was fun to get together and visit. Happy Birthday Leslie!

Happy 4th of July

This week has been so much fun. It started with getting a new nephew. My sister Melanie had her baby on July 1st. His name is Konner Reed, 8lbs 12oz, 21" long. He is so cute and has a head full of black hair. I will have pictures soon. I was able to go and see him at the hospital and it was pretty funny to see him next to Molly. She looks so big next to him. She got pretty jealous every time I held him. When my sister called to tell me she was on her way to the hospital to be induced it brought back so many memories. I remember the morning I got the phone call to head over to labor and delivery. I was scared, excited, and so overwhelmed. It is an absolute miracle and blessing to have the opportunity of having a baby.

Then on July 3rd we packed up and went to Idaho to celebrate the 4th of July. We traveled there with Kerry, Leslie, and Kason. We arrived to Idaho at 11:30 that night. The next morning we went for a walk along the river, to see the firework display. We talked with some security people and the told us that they would be shooting off 7 fireworks per second for 31 minutes. I was so stressed all day about Molly's ears. I knew we were going to be sitting very close and it made me very nervous. We ended up going to Wal-Mart to buy wax earplugs for Molly. Karissa put them in her ears for me and then we used Kasons ear muffs to put over her ears. She didn't seem bothered by the plugs or the noise.

She enjoyed the fireworks for the first 20 minutes and then she was busy playing with Grandma's hat. Molly was such a good baby the entire weekend, so that helped make the trip even more enjoyable. I will post more pictures of the trip but my batteries died on the camera so I had April take pictures on her camera and she will be e-mailing them soon.

Futsol

So this morning we had our Region Futsol tourny! It was pretty fun. I have never played soccer in my life so needless to say it was hillarious. We ended up taking 3rd place.

Who do you look like!

So Molly does have more of her daddy in her then everyone thinks. I am seeing more of Aaron in her everyday. You should all click on the link and try this with your little ones, it is pretty cool, and easy. We also tried this with Aaron and pictures of his parents, and it turns out he looks equally like his mom and dad. We thought that was pretty cool. I always thought he looked more like Leslie but I was wrong. I also look equally like my parents, and thought that I looked like my mom the most. Who knew?

I Did It!!!!!

I have been wanting to do a slide for so long but could never figure it out! It ended up being somewhat easy. So the song doesn't really go with the pictures, but I am still figuring that part out. There are some fun pictures of Molly so we hope you enjoy.

Excuses

O.k. so we are a little behind on our blog so this will just be an update! I will start trying to update you all on our family more often. Life happens so fast.
Molly is getting so big. She is 4 1/2 moths old now. I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday we brought her home. She is so much fun to have around. She giggles and jabbers a ton. She is eating cereal and some foods. We have tried things like sweet potatoes, squash, pears, peaches, ect. At first it was a struggle and way messy. It is still messy but she actually opens her mouth for me and I think we get more in her mouth now. She still doesn't roll. It seems like she is close but still won't. She has been being a little stinker lately when it comes to bed time. She has been waking up 3 or 4 times at night again and it is driving me crazy. I never understood the sacrifice of a mother until I became one. ( I probably still have no idea.) It is hard to explain the love you have for you children. Molly has brought so much joy and love to Aaron and I. We love her so much. We are so grateful for our mothers and for the love and Patience they have for us, and all of the support.
Aaron is still as busy as ever. He is enrolled at UVU, and has classes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-8:00. He also just started a new job as the assistant manager at the American Fork, America First Credit Union. We were so blessed that he was able to get the promotion. He deserves it. He has worked so hard for it. He is also our ward executive secretary and ward organist (which he loves.) We are so excited for the summer. He now will get Saturdays off and he is done with classes for the summer on June 15, so we are hoping to be able to visit grandparents in Idaho and Vegas. I am grateful for Aaron and all the sacrifices he makes in my behalf.
As for me my life is the same ol' same ol'. I work as a secretary Monday-Friday from 8:45-4:00. I am lucky that I am able to take Molly with me to work. She is a little stinker some days but that's ok. The ladies at work have given her a nickname of "Miss Molly Squawker Butt." I think most days it fits. She will playing on the floor at work and if someone comes up to her and talks to her she will laugh and smile, but the second they walk away she will get so mad at them.
